Third Person POV

Wolfy's eyes fluttered open and he soon saw himself in a completely different setting than what he remembered. All around him was white, only being contrasted with the multiple pink trees that surround him. He was in a sitting position with a table in font of him that looks a lot like the table Atago and Takao had in their house.

Wolfy: Why does this keep happening?

???: Why does what keep happening?

Wolfy soon looked over towards the voice's source and saw that the ship girl that put him to sleep was in front of him, a tea pot in hand.

Wolfy: Nothing.

The ship girl smiled softly at this and set down the tea pot before getting out two tea cups from what Wolfy thought was thin air.

Amagi: My name is Amagi, the first of the Amagi class battlecruiser although I was converted to an aircraft carrier.

Wolfy opened his mouth to speak however Amagi shook her head and began to pour out the tea.

Amagi: I know who you are, Triumphant. I also know that your friends called you Wolfy.

Wolfy: How do you know?

Amagi: Well, as you see you are not in the Sakura Empire's base.

Wolfy: Yeah, I think I got that.

Amagi: Well, you're where I have been for the past few years.

Wolfy looked around to see if there is anything wrong with what he so far assessed as nothing but a paradise. He found nothing to combat his first findings.

Amagi: You don't trust me.

Wolfy brought his eyes back to Amagi who took a sip of her tea as he watched.

Amagi: I can't blame you, after all my sister didn't make a great impression on you.

Wolfy's eyes arched in confusion for a few minutes before he quickly realized what she meant. Amagi smiled softly at his reaction and shook her head.

Amagi: It's ok to field caution. Now, lets get this straight.

Wolfy, a bit more cautious now, slowly nodded and looked at the tea cup in front of him.

Amagi: It's not spiked with anything, but if you don't want to you don't have to drink it.

Wolfy: Ok...

Amagi: Now, I saw everything that happened physically but what is going on mentally?

Wolfy gave Amagi a confused glance however Amagi pulled out a photo and pushed it towards Wolfy.

Amagi: You clearly cared about those ship girls in Azur Lane, but you turned on them when Akagi and Kaga let that monstrous machine on. Why?

Wolfy stared at the photo, his eyes wide but he shook his head.

Wolfy: I don't know, all I saw was the fire and the death around me.

Amagi: I was only able to go into your head once, and I must say its very odd.

Wolfy: Wait, so where am I now?

Amagi: You're in a state of meditation, your body functions slower however your mind and spirit are here.

Wolfy: But how long...

Amagi: You've been asleep for a day.

Wolfy was shocked, one full day? That long?

Amagi: I understand your need for more answers for your questions but they must wait. We have more pressing matters.

Wolfy nodded and looked at the battlecruiser across from him. Normally he wasn't ok with sharing such information, but maybe she has something that can help him. It was worth a shot he finally decided. He opened his mouth to speak however a sudden pain came to his head and suddenly everything went black.

Meanwhile a little earlier with Z23 and Ayanami.

The two Crimson Axis ships sat next to the door of the storage house for their shift at watch again. After a small reminder that they where supposed to be on watch duty after their run off to find Wolfy's helmet, they got their helmet along with a few other items that Atago said might be helpful and soon both of them sat near it, trying to find out what's wrong.

Z23: Seriously, how does anyone know what this is?

Ayanami: Technology is cool, but also confusing.

Z23 set the helmet down again after she gave it another scan around with a sigh of disappointment.

Z23: Seriously, there has to be something.

Ayanami: Maybe inside the helmet?

Z23: We don't know how to work it.

Ayanami: *sigh* this is hard.

Z23: Maybe the circular thing?

Ayanami picked up the holographic projector and gave it to Z23, however as she did a large red button caught her attention.

Ayanami: Red button.

Z23: Huh?

Ayanami: At the side of the circle.

Z23 looked at the side of the hologram projector and nodded, she carefully examined the wiring and looked at Ayanami.

Z23: I'm pretty sure its not a grenade.

Ayanami: How do you know?

Z23: I don't see any priming system or a fuse that leads to an explosive.

Ayanami: Do we press the button?

Z23: I think we should wait.

Ayanami nodded however as Z23 gave the circle to Ayanami, their fingers hit the button and soon the image of Pon Krell emerged from the projector. This freaked both Ayanami and Z23 out and soon the two dropped the holographic projector and scooted a back a bit.

Ayanami: Did it...

Soon the figure turned towards the two ship girls, and he began to speak.

Pon Krell: This is Jedi Master Pon Krell to the crew of the Triumphant, I do not need to remind you that the failure of destroying that Separatist ship to recover wounded clones is treason of the highest order. You disobeyed my orders to continue the fight, and I should have you all terminated for disobedience. But since I'm feeling generous today, you shall just be doing some physical punishments. Failure to complete it will get you a one way mission. We will be starting with running 10 miles....

As he continued to talk both Z23 and Ayanami looked at the projector than at each other in shock.

Z23: Did he say that saving others was....

Ayanami: Treason?

The two had a small bit of silence however it was soon interrupted by the loud knock at the door the two soon grabbed their weapons and aimed at the door. Soon the doors slowly opened and soon a pair of eyes appeared at the crack in the door and both ship girl's fingers inched towards their triggers. The eyes soon landed on the hologram projector and Z23 slowly took a breath and looked at the eyes in the door.

Z23: Wolfy-

She didn't get to finish as soon the eyes became a shadow that slammed into the two ship girls, however as the shadow ran past them both Z23 and Ayanami can make out the grey armor, the wolf ears, but also the missing leg chains and most notably, on each arm, was a half of a newly broken handcuff.
