CHAPTER 8

A Drunkards Hidden Talent

Is God punishing me for killing bad guys? Why in the world do i have to take care of this

"I was gone for a minute...1 MINUTE" i was starting to get irritated, i told Dita and Jihoon to look after Ruby while i go to the restroom and when i came back, a passed out Ruby greeted me.

"We're really sorry! We tried our best to stop her but she's just insane with these!" Dita and Jihoon continued to bow while apologizing.

I massed both my temples and took a deep breath. "Okay that's enough, help me bring her to the car let's go"

They nodded and we started carrying her through the crowd. "How much did she drink anyways?" I shouted since we could barely hear each other because of the loud music.

"When you were gone? Miss Kim continuously drank more than 5 glasses!" Jihoon replied. I didn't even have time to react when one of the guys quickly contacted me through my ear piece.

Miss Lisa, please get out of their quickly. We've detected something weird in the crowd but right now we're not so sure if it's some threat.

I scoffed in annoyance. "Ugh seriously? Oh come on let's hurry up"

When we successfully got Ruby into the car i told Jihoon to quickly get us back to the house, at the same time Ruby finally woke up.

"Hngg where am i?" She asked while she's barely able to open her eyes. I gave her a bottle of water which she quickly drank.

"You passed out, we're on our way home it's already late" she frowned and rested her head on the window, since she's still a bit tipsy i quickly texted Seulgi to prepare her some medicine.

"Hey...that car...i think it's been following us for a while now" Jihoon said, i frowned and looked behind and indeed there was a car behind us.

"Dita take a different route for now and take 4 turns whenever you have the chance" i said while looking behind at the car. Dita nodded and started driving on a different route away from the house.

"Hey, there's a car following us can you see if it's a threat or just some mild coincidence?"

"Yeah sure, we're getting on it. Try losing them for now, i already sent some of our guys to your route so just keep on driving"

"Is there something wrong?" Ruby asked.

I shrugged and continued making calls on my phone. "We're not fully sure, im still making calls but for now please lay low miss Kim"

She just rolled her eyes and laid down on the seat. While everything was silent between us i quickly called Chaeyoung.

"Hey what's up"

"I think this car behind us following us, can you do something about it?" I asked in a worried tone.

"Woah woah is the Lisa Manoban scared?" She chuckled and then a long pause followed. "Anyways speaking of the car im still collecting data from it, just to make sure can you tell me the plate number?"

"Sure, hey Jihoon what's the plate number again?" I asked.

"It's xxx-xxx"

"Okay i heard that give me a moment"

While waiting for her response a loud gun shot was heard and the window behind us shattered. We all quickly ducked while the people behind us started shooting.

"Shit! Get down!" I said while looking in the car. Chaeyoung suddenly replied "Woah hold on! Turns out those people behind you are from the Kim's! Ok i already prepared guns and placed them under every car seat! I already contacted the guys from our agency to help!"

With that i quickly looked under the car seat and saw a black box, i pulled it out and started giving one to Jihoon. "A gun?!" He said in surprise. "Dita keep driving!" I shouted while i opened the window and quickly aimed the gun at the front tires.

The bullet successfully hit both which made the car lose control that's when i saw one of the guys in the car aiming at us so i immediately aimed when out of nowhere i saw the guy shot in the head.

I turned to my right and saw Ruby swiftly shooting back at the guys, i just sat there watching her as she successfully killed every person in the car which it then led to it crashing into the hills.

She then turned to me and smirked while tossing the gun to me. "Dita, take me home and you" She pointed at me. "Tell Seulgi to tell the maids to—"

Out of nowhere a car hit us which sent ours crashing onto the side of the hill and for a brief moment i blacked out.

When i finally got a grasp of my consciousness i blinked and opened my eyes to see a faint shadow standing outside the car, when i looked around the car was severely damaged and tumbled over.

I turned to see Jihoon and Dita passed out with blood and scratches on their faces. i slowly crawled out through the window despite the pain from the glass shards i have to crawl through in order to bet out.

I looked up to see Ruby holding katana while swiftly attacking the other guys mercilessly, i just silently watched her as she went through and killed them all at ease. When she was done she turned around with a wide smile on her face, i saw how bright her golden eyes shined throughout the dark road when suddenly cars started arriving, she turned in alarm and quickly calmed down when she realizes that the guys arriving were apart of our team.

The guys started running towards us, checking on me and Ruby. I quickly turned over to Jihoon and Dita who were being carried onto the cars. I couldn't help but not just stand there and watch them so i quickly ran towards them despite the pain i was going through.

"Wait! I wanna come with you guys!" I shouted but they blocked me from getting near them. "No! Miss Lisa you have to get treated back at the house! You're injured too! We're gonna take care of them both don't worry" the guy said while restraining me to get passed them.

I looked at them being driven away in a car, I couldn't help but feel guilt and worry as i sighed in defeat.

Suddenly a hand caressed through my waist and i was surprised to see Ruby smirking while looking at me playfully.

"This night just keeps on getting better and better, don't you wanna get in the car so you can get yourself checked up?" She winked and I scoffed.

The audacity of this bitch to act like all of this is just some random game.

Instead of going off at her i just pushed her away and started making my way towards the car where the others were waiting for me.

What the hell...
