3Gun finished his drink and scratched his head
If Lorne found out, he'd be as good as dead
CM was the only option he had
And Myna, he was sure, would be right glad
He was determined to find where CG went
Already too much wasted time had been spent
Brody watched the jail so he couldn't come
And Billy was needed to mind the town
With a guilty conscience, he took Myna aside
Asked if she could join in his ride
To track CG wherever they'd gone
Before she sings her last swan song
Outside standin' in the street, at the café door
The horse Crazy Moose is causin' a bit of an uproar
"Well Hello CM, what you doin' here?"
Myna gives his ears a rub and his chin a tickle,
"It seems your owner has got herself in quite a pickle."

CM whinnies and gives a stomp, "Do you know where CG is?"
Another whinny and a nod of his head,
CM grabs 3Gun's hat and takes off with a whiz!
"Listen 3Gun I have an idea; do you have something of CG's,
Maybe CM can help us, like a bloodhound, minus the fleas."

3Gun gathers their horses, Myna some muffins, and after CM they chase.
They follow CM out to Lou's resting place
There're signs of a struggle, but of CG, no trace
A clear indication of the abduction of Carolina Grace
CM's agitation is clear, a sniff of CG's hat and a muffin is offered,
And quickly gulped down, and they move onward
Out across the pasture, with CM in the lead
Putting all their trust in this bloodhound steed

CM's determination was quite a sight
But they soon had to stop him because of the night
First thing in the morning they took off again
And when they got to the cabin, what happened was plain
A bullet-riddled Ewell lay dead by the door
Inside another body sprawled by ropes on the floor
"Gotta think they escaped, but where did they go?"
Myna pointed to CM, "We just follow him - he'll know."

A lot bigger than BG but not as pretty
CM seemed confused, too many smells
3Gun looked at Myna, gave a crooked smile
"Guess it's up to us now. Check all the hotels.
Boarding houses too . . . gonna take a while."
