Ewell has a large reward on him
Which anyone would be glad to claim.

But it's Sheriff Wise we have to watch
He's protecting William and his men."
Gabe left his office
To have a word with his secretary.

"I want you to meet the mayor"

"I'll have it set up,
How about dinner tonight?"
"I am staying at the hotel
That one near the stable
But why meet the mayor
What's this got to do with him?
Is something going on

"The mayor recently made a trip
To meet the Marshall in County.
He'll be wanting to know your story
Since you have a history with William."
He patted my shoulder
"I'll see you tonight."
I left the office
Heading for the post
When I felt a sharp nudge
On my back
Followed by a sloppy kiss
