He knew Josie was no fool
He had to play his card close to the vest
If he wanted her to invest.
She walked on past, giggling with Gyn.
He tried to look serious

Josie has met Jasper several timesat the stables.
He seemed to be filling in whenever Jake wasn't able.
Josie was intrigued indeed,
to figure out what Jasper might need.
She knew him more in passing and not well.
She'd seen him in the stables and around the hotel.

that much she knew.
She gave him a small smile,
told Gyn she'd catch up with her after a while.
"Hello. Good afternoon. Is something wrong?
With Jake? With Rue?"
Josie doubted the man wanted to strike
