Perrie brings me the photo of me and LeighAnne and i start drawing it. I have my music playing so i cant hear anything right now.
It looks good so far.
My heart nearly evaporated when LeighAnne hugged me.
"Are you okay?" LeighAnne asks.
"Yeah. You scared me. I forgot you were in here."
She smiles. I hug her.
"How's it looking so far?"
"Nuh uh. You cant see it till I'm done." I say.
"Jaaaade." She whines.
"I'm being serious Leigh.".
She pouts. I kiss her and she smiles. Someone knocks on the door.
"Who is it?" Leigh asks.
"Your overly sarcastic friend."
I laugh.
"Come in Chloe." I say.
She walks in and shuts the door.
"I have a problem."
I move the drawing stand and sit next to her.
"What's your problem?" LeighAnne asks.
She pulls a chair and sits in front of us. In the most awkward position might i add.
"I think i like someone in here but we've spoken once."
"Okay? Who is it?"
"The girl who literally just got here. We went to school with her."
"Lucy?" Leigh asks.
Chloe nods.
"You still like her?"
"Not my fault!" Chloe says.
"Who's Lucy?" I ask.
"This girl who went to our school. She was a bitch to everyone." LeighAnne says.
"Okay not true."
"Yeah it is. She was horrible to you Chloe."
"That's not true."
LeighAnne rolls her eyes.
"There's a guidance councillor down the hall if you wanna talk to her. She's a good person to talk to." I say.
"Thanks guys."
Chloe leaves. I swat LeighAnne's head.
"Um.. ow! What was that for?"
"When someone comes to you about liking someone, dont be a bitch about it. You gotta respect it."
"Did you just call me a bitch?"
"Technically, i didn't but we'll get to that later. You need to respect who she likes. Whether that person is like an angel or the damn devil in real life. You respect it cos she's your friend and then when it doesn't end well, be there for her. Dont be all 'told you so' because it doesn't help."
"Whatever. You dont know Lucy."
"Does it matter? No. As long as Chloe knows her that's all that matters. It doesn't matter how nice this Lucy person is or isn't. You still need go respect Chloe's choice. Besides, you cant help who you like."
"Whatever."
She leaves. I roll my eyes.
"This is just pathetic." I say.
I grab the drawing stand and continue drawing. She'll come to her senses sooner or later.
Hours pass and i hear a knock.
"Come in."
The door opens and there's a girl with glasses and long black hair.
"Um.... hi?"
"Hi. I'm Lucy."
This is Lucy?
"Hi. I'm Jade."
"Yeah you're with LeighAnne. We used to go to school together. That was before i left."
I nod.
"You seem like a nice person."
"I am. I suppose LeighAnne has told you how much of a bad person i am."
"No. She hasn't really mentioned you."
"Figured she woulda. Considering we used to date."
