All of this must be a coincidence.

A pure coincidence. Fate must be playing with me. Some goddess must be laughing at me somewhere above.

'Damn.'

"Are you alright?" She said with worried eyes.

'What a beauty. Is this the reason why the male leads fell in love?'

I came back to reality and realized my situation.

"I'm alright. I apologize once again. I'll get going first."

I walked away from her.

"Wait for me, Young miss!" Kelly shouted.

Stella Richmond.

The heroine of this world.

Avoiding her is a must since she's the cause of Moriana's demise.

'Hahh.'

..

"Hah, hahh...why did you suddenly run, young miss?" Kelly panted.

"I didn't run, you did."

"Didn't you recognize the lady earlier?" She asked.

"Why? Do you know her?"

"Yes, she is Baron Richmond's only daughter. Rumors say that she was a talented lady who designed the princess' dress from our empire's neighboring kingdom." Kelly whispered.

'When the hell did she become a fashion designer!? '

I can't take this anymore..

I have to admit that the story is deviating from its the original course. And the main plot is starting to crumble.

'I didn't even do anything! I didn't save the prince, befriend or bully the heroine. I only did my best to live a peaceful life!

How come it changed easily like that!?'

I need to let all my inner stress out.

"Let's go boating Kelly." I proposed.

"Huh? Who's going to row then?"

"You, of course." I said.

"I apologize young miss, I'm afraid that once-"

"I'll give you a day off."

"I'm very capable young miss." She quickly replied and smiled.

"Let's go."

We started walking towards the lake and rented a boat.

Kelly got on the boat first and I followed. The boat had a comfortable-looking cushion that's perfect for me to lie on.

I lied on the cushion and blocked the sunlight using the parasol I carried since earlier.

Kelly started rowing and I heard the water flowing and the wind breezing.

'Ahh..this is great. Life should be like this. Quiet, peaceful, and continuously flowing unlike the story.'

I felt drowsy and started closing my eyes.

.
.
.
.

When I opened my eyes, the sky was already orange and the wind started to get cold. Maybe about dusk.

"Kelly?" I got up and rubbed my eyes.

It seemed like I really slept a lot. My vision was a bit blurry at the moment.

"Young miss!"

'Huh? Was that kelly?'

"Young miss! Over here!"

I looked around to see where the voice came from and she was standing far away in front of a large tree.

When I looked at her, she waved her hands like a madman.

'Haha, what is she doing?' I chuckled.

'Wait..

If she's over there, then who's rowing the boat right now?'

"Did you sleep well, Lady Moriana?" A deep and handsome voice said.

I looked in front of me and encountered a sea-bluegreen eyes.

"Crown prince?" I said with a hoarse voice.

'My voice...'

"Yes, Lady Moriana?" He smiled.

"...."

I stared at him blankly.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

'What the hell!?'

I stood up from embarrassment when suddenly, my body was out of balance and gravity caught my weight.

"Lady!" He tried to catch my hand.

Before I could scream, I already fell in the lake.

My body already sank in the deep waters. I didn't know how to swim so I didn't bother struggling underwater.

Air bubbles were coming out from my mouth and nose and I was losing breath. All I could see was the vain colors of dimness.

I closed my eyes to feel the moment.

It was a nice feeling.
