Ophelia was excited about going back to school. She was always reading even during break. Professor McGonagall adores her, Dumbledore tells her stories about her father (didn't bother to keep the bad parts out). She knew he was bullied and swore she wouldn't end up being messed with. Platform nine and three quarters was always her favorite spot. She'd be going back home on this platform.

"Are you ready my dear?" Snape told his daughter as he kneeled in front of her while he squeezed her hands.

"I am dad. Don't worry about me. I'm not very weak and I'm 12 not a kid. I'll be fine and I have you there with me," she winked causing her father to smile. He stood up and walked beside her. Their cloaks dramatically blowing in the wind as they walked on the platform to the first compartment of the train.

As they walked they saw the Malfoy family. A very respected family at that. Feared yet respected.

"Good evening, Snape," Lucius Malfoy told her father as he extended his arm. Her father took his hand and looked back at his daughter.

"She looks beautiful, Severus. What's her name?" Narcissa Malfoy said as she bent down to the girls height.

Ophelia looked at her father who gave a simple nod assuring her that it was okay.

"I'm Ophelia. Ophelia Lucina Snape. It's a pleasure to finally meet you," she said politely as she took Narcissa's hand and shook it. Narcissa's breath got caught in her throat. She knew that name. She put that name together. She looked at Snape and her eyes filled with tears. Lucius looked at his wife and back at the girl.

"White hair? Very strange, don't you think?" He told his wife. She nodded slowly but kept her eyes on the girl. Ophelia's ocean blue eyes showed very little emotion.

"Born with it, actually. Go on my dear," Severus gently wrapped his arms around her and waited for her to do the same.

"Draco. Why don't you and Ophelia get on the train. Now!" He said sternly. His son smiled at Ophelia and they both got into the train after Draco hugged his mum goodbye. Ophelia looked back and saw her father talking to Lucius before he followed her into the train. They made eye contact and Ophelia raised her brow at the blond man.

"Dad? Everything alright?" She asked her father as he got into an empty teacher's compartment.

"Yes, yes, my dear. We'll have a talk very soon. It's important but not just yet. Maybe your 5th year. Go take a seat and we'll talk more about it later," he told her as he rubbed his face in frustration and worry. Ophelia walked closer to her father and kissed the top of his head.

"Forehead kissed make everything feel better," she whispered softly. Snape smiled weakly and watched her exit the compartment.

"In this case... I don't think they will my dear," He told himself as she was out of earshot. He sighed deeply and pulled out a book and began to read.

Ophelia walked down the little walkway to find her friends. The Weasley twins.

"Oi! Little rouge Slytherin!" Someone shouted. She turned around to see George. She frowned instantly and walked by him. He grabbed ahold of her arm.

"Weasley. Let go, my fathers near. And if he sees your hand on my arm he will flip out" She asked as she looked around.

He chuckled as he took her bag as he entered the compartment. She sat down across from him with a book in hand. She got comfortable by leaning her back on the window.

"You look beautiful," George randomly complimented. She stopped reading and looked at him.

"Thank you," She replied and cleared her throat. George was in his 3rd year and a big prankster. Hogwarts seems to have a couple of those. Her father would tell her about a group called Marauders when he went to Hogwarts as a student. The twins were just the same; less bullying though.

She looked over at George who kept his eyes on her as if she were a prized possession. She quickly opened her book and continued to read.

"Anything from the trolly dears?" The trolly lady asked as she walked by. Ophelia got herself and George a chocolate frog.

"I'll pay you back," he said after he ate the frog. Ophelia giggled causing George to tilt his head like a confused puppy.

"No need. It's on me," she replied. Blush quickly took over his face. She shot up and placed her hand on his forehead. "You're burning up. Here my dad says this always works." She leaded in and kissed his forehead. She sat back down and continued to read while George was flushed.

"Hi guys!" Fred made himself known and took a seat by his brother. "Ah! Forgot don't distract the reader. Oi, Georgie you okay?"

"I'm fine. I'll be back. Erm, keep Lucina company," he walked out the compartment without letting his twin get another word in.

"Called me Lucina. Weird. He's hiding something Freddie," Ophelia said as she kept reading. Fred chuckled.

"I know Lia. He can't keep it in for long," Fred placed his hand on her knee before leaving the compartment to chase his brother. Ophelia smiled as she finally had quiet time. She loves her friends but the quiet she adores. She only wished George knew she liked him. Little did she knew he does. But hey. What do 12 and 13 year olds know?
