Night's already appearing as the other Thread maker goes back home "You should rest to you know?" I looked at the female chick, Sapphire. "It must be harder for you to finish those with Suika sleeping on your lap" Sapphire's friend, Garnet said as she carry Suika out of my lap "Get some rest, Goodnight!" Ruby said as the four of them go back home.
I decided to finish this one basket before going home... wait... home?
Where am I gonna sleep now that pinkie is gone? I sighed in defeat "If I don't have somewhere to sleep I'll just continue until morning." I whispered.
"Idiot" A familiar voice said, Senku. He looked at me, sat down beside me and flicks my forehead. I flinch since it lowkey hurts. "Continuing those until morning will drain your energy." He said as he repeatedly flicks my forehead "You're already a big help because of your speed, Don't spoil the village too much" He finally ended his sentence but he's still flicking my forehead.
I grabbed his wrist "You're enjoying yourself too much" I said, slides 5ft away from him and continue my business. "I've always wonder why do you always go and slide away from me" He said staring at me but I don't bother looking because I might pee myself.
"You're scary that's why" I answered still focused on the thread. "Scary? You're the one scary here. I've always tried approaching you but you always throw me your deadly aura" He said and slowly sliding closer to me. I can't afford him sliding anywhere closer so I looked at him. I could feel my cheeks burning.
"You're Scary! Whenever I look at you I get this uneasy feeling." I said as I put my hand in my chest. "Oh and I tremble in fear like how people in our school do when they look at me!" I let him see my shaky hands. "and... and..." I can't look at him in the eyes anymore as I find any proof I think of.
"And your Cheeks start to blood rush, Your heart start beating faster plus you stutter when you try to talk" He said as he counts the exact feelings I experience. I nodded as yes.
"DUMBASS YOU'RE NOT SCARED OF ME" He shouted sliding closer to me again.
"EH?! THEN WHAT IS IT?!" I shouted back and slides far from him.
"I DON'T KNOW! YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR OWN FEELINGS!" He shouted back and slides closer and closer to me
"HA! HOW COME THE BEST SCIENTIST IN THIS STONE WORLD DON'T KNOW SOMETHING LIKE THIS!" I shouted back again I was about to slide far but I noted there's a tree blocking my way. oh no.
"OFCOURSE I DO KNOW!" Senku Shouted back and slide closer, 3ft away. "YOU'RE..." he slides closer until our shoulder touched. "IN..." He faced me. "love..." I can feel him breathe. "with...me" he whispered, properly sat down and look the other direction.
"what?" I am dumbfounded. "what did you said? I think you said something illogical." I continued. He looked at me blushing. "Don't use my own words on me! It's your fault not knowing in the first place." he finally went back to his sane.
"But love is like, You feel safe whenever you're around them. That's complete opposite dumbass" I explained. "Gah! do I really need to explain this to you?" He faced me, grabbed my two hands. he put my right hand on my chest and the left hand on his chest. and that... is... enough for me to blood rush again.
"Don't shake dumbass." He said and I tried my best not to tremble.
"I love you" He said straightforward while looking at my eyes.
"Did you just said something illogi--" He didn't get me to finish my sentence
"Notice how your heart start beating fast, that's one of the proof." he explained. he's right, I can feel my heart beat faster than normal. "now say it back to me" He said "what" I am so dumb founded.
"Just say it will you?!" He insisted "okay okay I love you too!!" I shouted as I close my eyes. Everything happened so quickly, what the fvck is happening.
"Notice how my heart doesn't beat faster? now you get it?--" I didn't give him a chance to finish his sentence as I opened my eyes.
"But... It is beating faster."
"What"
"What?"
"Senku.. do you--"
"Alright! It's already night. Sleep here or where ever you want I don't care. Goodnight" He stands up and leave immediately
