-Neville's POV-
The yule ball was amazing. It would have been a lot better if Naomi had come with us though. Ginny had a good time as well. I have sent a letter to Naomi's address but she didn't reply. She's back today anyway. I can't wait to see her. I got her a wonderful Christmas present.
At lunch, I was sat with Fred and George when I felt someone cover my eyes from behind.
"Guess who?"
"Naomi?!"
"Hiya prince."
"Naomi! Gosh I missed you so much!"
She sat down next to me and kissed my cheek. I got her present out of my pocket and handed it to her.
"A present?"
"Late Christmas present."
"Right"
She opened it and her face lit up. It was a pair of gloves and a woolly hat.
"Neville...... Is this so I don't hold your hand and steal your hat?"
She said with a giggle.
"Yes. And look inside the hat!"
There was a hand sewn heart on the inside of the hat with N+N next to it.
"I love it. Thank you."
"What happened to your hands? Why have they been bandaged up?"
"Oh, I fell. I'm okay though. I went and stayed with Remus for a bit"
"Who?"
"Oh right, Professor Lupin"
"Oh, why?"
"It doesn't matter"
Cedric then came over and seen her.
C: "You're back!"
Na: "Yup, miss me?"
C: "A lot. Hey, exited to come and watch me in the first task?"
Na: "Very, Ced"
C: "Wicked, nice seeing you again"
Na: "You to"
And with that, he left
Na: "so what happened while I was gone?"
F: "Not much-"
G: "Yeah right! Freddie got a girlfriend!"
Na: "Wait really!? This isn't a prank!?"
F: "George! I wanted to tell her!"
Ne: "alright, let's not have a repeat of Halloween"
G: "Wow, who knew Longbottom could be funny?"
