Turtle looked at the coconut in front of him. Today was the day of animus tests. Whirlpool said, in his oh-so-fake voice, "Lo-" Whirlpool was cut off when Queen Coral, Turtle's mother, burst in through the doors, with Turtle's sister, Anemone, following right behind. Whirlpool said, "Your Majesty! Why is Princess Anemone doing here?" Queen Coral replied, "I have a feeling that Anemone is special. I want her to participate in the animus test." Whirlpool protested, "But she's too young!" Queen Coral scoffed, "Nonsense! Anemone is not too young. Continue on with the instructions, Whirlpool." Whirlpool sighed then instructed in his annoying voice, "In your mind, tell the coconut in front of you to lift into the air." It was that simple?! Turtle thought. Turtle watched as one by one, his siblings tried and failed to enchant the coconut. It was now Anemone's turn. She smiled, concentrated, but failed. Turtle's mother's jaw dropped open. She muttered, "No! This can't be! There must be a mistake!" Queen Coral said, "Anemone, try again." Anemone tried and tried, but everytime the coconut didn't move. Queen Coral seemed to give up hope.

Then, it was Turtle's turn. I'm not even going to be an animus, anytime. This test, for me at least, is pointless, Turtle thought. But I guess it won't hurt to try. Turtle took a deep breath and closed his eyes. I enchant this coconut to fly out of my talons and into the air. Everyone was suddenly silent. Turtle slowly opened one eye, then the other, and he gasped. A coconut, his coconut, to be exact, was floating in the air right in front of him.
