'Why did I agree to this again?' Cynthia thought as she tried keeping a forced smile upon her face. Her jaw is starting to ache.

There she was standing in a store filled with beautiful clothes of fine silks and the finest pieces of jewellery only for the rich and nobility. Though this isn't really her go-to place and her friends were enjoying themselves completely.

"Ah! Isn't this pretty?" Avelyn gushed over a beautiful gown.

"Uh-uh," Cynthia nodded, tapping her feet. 'My legs hurt...'

"Oh, how about this sapphire necklace? It matches your eyes!" Edgar showed the piece of jewellery with eagerness.

"Cool," Cynthia's smile twitched as her stomach quietly rumbled. 'I'm hungry....'

"Ooo~ I have never seen these type shells design pieces before!" Erina's eyes glimmered at them. She dashed from one dress to another.

"Interesting" Cynthia mindlessly said as she began staring into space. 'Is that a bug?'

While Avelyn, Ethan and Erina was looking around the store with great enthusiasm with a dazed Cynthia in the middle of all that, the rest watches accompanied by some warm tea.

Kathryn snickered, "she's torturing herself" watching the blonde heiress.

"Huh?" Lily looked at the green-haired with curiosity. "What do you mean, Kathryn?" Her ruby red orbs blinking.

Looking at the girl, Kathryn couldn't hold back the urge to pat her on the head. So she does so while answering her curiosity. "Well, Cynthia isn't really a big fan of shopping...particularly clothes"

Yumi hummed in agreement, "she would turn whiney and act tired just for it to end quickly....but now"

"She has to suck it up!" Kathryn smirked. "She owes it for her little anger outburst" the green-haired noble was finding her friend's struggle very entertaining. Can't say she wasn't still a little salty from their recent argument. "I think the only thing that would've made this worse for our friend here is that her dearest fiance would've accompanied her~"

Apparently the Crown Prince had some business with the Anatasial very own Crown Prince. The two future Kings were back in the palace for their own discussion.

Although as they reach the topic of Cynthia's fiance, Lily furrowed her brows, "...hmm...do you two ever noticed...that there are some...um what's the word?" She bit her lips in struggle.

"Resentment? Irritation? Tension? Complete and utter hatred?" Kathryn tried to help.

"Um, the tension I think. Yeah..." Lily fiddled with her fingers. She actually paled a little at Kathryn's lack of care regarding the engagement between their friend and the Crown Prince. The green-haired were too blunt with her words.

"Oh you know, the usual thing. The force engagement, the lack of actual feelings towards one another. All that jazz" Kathryn shrugged. She even did jazz hands. To be honest, she just wishes that Cynthia just straight tell her parents about her displeasure with the engagement...then she remembered this was a monarchy-based leadership. A person regardless of their friendship or status couldn't just break off a royal engagement. "Damn...democracy is dead.." She darkly muttered her breath.

Lily sweated a bit as a dark aura came leaking out of the green-haired girl. She didn't quite hear what she said under her breath but she really doesn't want to question it.

"...hey...can I get some more raspberry tarts with this tea?" Yumi chirped in, holding out her cup of tea.

"You already finished a whole plate?!" Kathryn gaped at her foodie friend. Yes, a warm cup of tea couldn't possibly be enjoyed without a delicious treat to accompany it. Hehe...
