The entire mansion of Claremore was bustling from head to toe. Amidst such a hectic day, trouble was bound to happen...

"What are you doing?!" A maid had screeched at a nearby butler. Her face was horrified by what she had witnessed.

"H-Huh?" The male furrowed his brows at the maid. He was only holding a vase of beautiful red roses. He didn't know what he did wrong.

"The flowers were supposed to be blue tulips! Not roses!" The maid frowned as she gestured to the flowers in his hands. Trouble was bound to happen...no matter how small.

The poor butler could only furrow his brows in confusion. He was told to place the flowers given, he didn't know anything about whether it was supposed to be roses or tulips...was the flower order was messed up?

Regardless, the maid was panicking and the butler only stood there with the flowers in his hands not knowing what to do.

Noticing the commotion, a younger maid had approached them in concern.
"Sarah?" Her lime green eyes looked at her in concern. "Are you alright?" She also looked at the butler with an apologetic smile.

Though her kind gesture was returned with looks of disbelief upon her arrival. "Erina?! What are you doing here?!" The older maid—Sarah gripped her own hair.

"Um...to help?" Erina furrowed her brows. She was confused about the older female's question and concern. What else was she supposed to do?

"Sweet child, you were supposed to get ready!" Nancy—the head maid gasped when she too had approached them. "Did you forget? This farewell banquet is also for you?" The older woman furrowed her brows.

Erina blinked. "Oh..." She didn't realize that. She was stumped as she watched the other staff scurried around about to prepare for the banquet. Whereas Nancy was trying to calm down a hysterical Sarah, who was panicking over the flowers. She would've thought they needed the extra hands.

"Erina, there you are" Taren chimed,  suddenly appearing at her side. The blonde girl flinched at the sudden appearance before greeting the familiar male with a smile. "The clothes had arrived. I just set yours in your room"

"Oh, I'll be getting ready then..." Erina had smiled but was fiddling with her fingers. She felt conflicted since as a maid she was supposed to help but...

"It's alright, Erina" the older male patted her on the head, comforting her. He had noticed the internal conflict she had. "We'll get everything settled for the banquet, you just worry about yourself, getting ready" Taren smiled at her in reassurance.

"O-Okay..." She shyly nodded. And with a final glance, she had quickly retreated to the servant quarters.

Even though Taren had reassured her that all things were well, Erina couldn't help the anxiety from brewing inside of her.

The young maid was so caught in her thoughts, she didn't realize that she had already arrived at her room. Being the youngest maid in the Claremore Household, she was fortunate to receive a room of her own rather than the typical room of two.

Upon walking inside, she immediately noticed the neatly folded clothes on her bed. Though accompanying those clothes, she blinked at the pretty green head and with a golden star and white feather design and there attached to it is a small note.

"I know it's simple but here's a little farewell gift from me"

— Taren-nii

Erina gleamed at the note and gratefully thanked Taren internally. Without much hassle, she quickly changed into them. She hummed at the soft and comfortable fabric before looking at herself with the large mirror stand in her room.
