Chapter 38~ Rude Awakening

Lauren's pov:

I heard the most annoying beeping noise along with a quiet bark from the puppy.
" what time is it?" i moaned as I tried to open my eyes but I was just too tired.

Jason must still be sleeping because he didn't answer. Omg we have to go to NYC today! I sat up still with half opened eyes. " Jason we have to go to New york today." I stretched my arms out and looked next to my bed side to see just a empty bed.
" Jason?" I called his name out thinking he was in the closet but he wasn't.
" jay?" My leg hung over the side of the bed and I slowly got up and went to the bathroom.
To my surprise the bathroom was dim and empty, no one was in there.

Where the hell did he go? I grabbed my phone and it said 10 o'clock... Jason said our plane was leaving early.
I put a sweatshirt on and walked downstairs.
Ariana was sitting with Jessica at the counter, and Ryan was talking to Brandon at the kitchen table.
" hey guys where's Jason?" I asked walking over to Brandon and Ryan.
" Good morning sunshine!" Jess said coming over to me and hugging me.
"How did you sleep?" Ariana asked.

"Where is Jason?" I ignored them.
I looked over at Ryan and he was trying to not make eye contact with me.
"Ryan? Where is Jason?"I asked, the girls both looked at him.
"He Um."Ryan said stuttering.
"He left."
" what do you mean he left?"
" like he left to go back to New York to do the mission and you're coming with me to LA." Alex said from behind me.

I turned around and looked at him in disbelief.
" no he couldn't have left he told me I was going with him." I said panicky.
" hun we talked this morning, go pack a bag, we are leaving in 2 hours." Alex said bossily.
" no, I'm not leaving without Jason." I crossed my arms.
" Jason. Is not. Coming back. For .
1. Or 2. Weeks. So go. And pack your bag. Now." Alex said rudely.
" no I'll drive to New York if I have to." I said walking over to the door and grabbing the keys.

I opened the door and before I could walk out alex grabbed me.
" come on." He took the keys out
Of my hands and carried me upstairs.
" let me go!" I said trying to release his hands. I could feel my slash start burning.
He put me in the room and closed the door.
" listen, I'm not as easy going as Jason. You will listen to me, if you want to live, Jason is saving your freaking life right now by going down there, don't even try to run because I promise you, you won't get far. The rest of my team left two days ago so it's me and you on the plane and we have a lot of stuff to discuss, Jason will meet us back at my house when he is done, get packing." He smirked and left the room.

What even.

This is too much for me.
Why wouldn't Jason tell me?
I deserve to know what's going on!
Ok I'm not gonna mess with Alex so I'm going to go pack my bag.
What i want to know is why did alex seem so much nicer the first time I met him?
He's actually making me scared of him right now..

I went over to my phone and dialed Jason's number. It rang two times then I heard his ringtone across the room.
Nice Jason just don't bring your phone cause that's just so smart.
I went over to the phone and fredo texted him.
" dude what's the new plan?"
" why didn't you tell me about this earlier?"
" is Lauren coming still?"
" when are you leaving dude?"
" spotted Paul."
" dude paul is doing it."

What is Paul doing...?
I heard someone coming up the stairs so I threw Jason's phone on the bed and went into the bathroom and ran the sink water then looked around for my toothbrush.

" ok good i just wanted to make sure you're getting ready." Alex said coming in.
I nodded my head , gave a thumbs up and brushed my teeth.
" come down when you're done I'll grab your bags."
I just nodded my head again.
When alex left I spit the toothpaste out and finished my teeth then grabbed my makeup purse.
