Chapter 45:

Lauren's pov:

We all ate in a awkward conversation, alex never showed... I don't really blame him...

" take rylee back to the house, DO NOT crash this car." Jason handed me the keys.
" no car seat?"
" it's already in there."
" okay." I grabbed the keys and sat up at the table.
Britney and Pattie were getting up and talking so they weren't paying attention.

" mom Lauren is gonna take rylee back to Alex's, I wanna ride with you so we can talk is that okay?" Jason asked.
" oh yes that's okay, rylee be a good girl for Lauren okay?" Pattie said.
" lawernn yayy! Ok mommy." Rylee stood up in her booster chair.
" you ready munchkin?" I asked picking her up.
" yeah!!!" She said happily.
" alright see you later love you!" I kissed Jason.
" love you too."

I gave rylee the keys to hold while we walked out.
" Rylee do you want to get some Icecream?" I asked smiling.
" YESS!" She got super excited.
" haha okay, let's go." We got Into the car and I adjusted everything so I could drive properly. Jason will probably be mad I switched things up but he can deal with it.

" are you and jay jay gonna get married?" Rylee asked me and I started laughing.
" I don't know rylee, you have to ask jay jay about that one." I laughed which made her smile.
" okay I will!" She said happily.

I got into town and found a frozen yogurt place called menchies so I decided why not take her here.
" have you ever been here before?" I asked pulling in.
She shook her head no.

" you'll like it! And you can get stickers." I smiled and unbuckled her and she hopped out the car.
She ran around and grabbed my hand immediately after getting out the car.
" do you miss your house yet? You haven't been there in a while!" I said picking her up once we got in the store.

" no I like being with you and jay, it's more fun with you guys." She said playing with my hair.
" why don't you not like being with mommy and da- your mom?" I stopped before saying daddy because I mean ew.

" mommy and daddy fight a lot, and it scares me. You and jay jay never fight, that's why you guys need marry each other, mommy and daddy aren't married because they fight so much."
" who told you that because they fight that they aren't married?" I asked as I got her a cup for her and myself.

" aren't married people supposed to be happy?" She questioned.
" yes, but umm it's okay for a little fight."
" they seem like big fights."
" is mommy mean to daddy or daddy mean to mommy?"

" daddy is mean to mommy."she said as she pointed to the flavor she wanted.
" you like cake batter?" I asked.
" yeah!" She clapped her hands.
" here you can help me pull the lever, okay?"

I kneeled down and she pulled the lever and laughed.
I like cake batter too so we got the same thing.
" do you like and sprinkles?" I asked and she nodded.
She looked really happy which made me happy.

We checked out then sat outside because it was really nice out and fresh air is always nice.
" rylee guess what!"
" what!" Her eyes got big.
" there's a new puppy at Jason's house! When you come back you can see it?"
" yay!! What's it's name?"
" her name is karma, she's gonna be a big doggy."
" karma. I like that name!" She laughed.

I looked at my phone and it was getting sorta late, I don't want to keep her out too long.
" are you ready to go back and see alex?" I asked.
" bubba!!" She got excited.
" haha yeah let's go kido." I threw our trash away and walked with rylee to the car.
" knock knock." Rylee said randomly on the way home.
" haha who's there?"
" Stuart."
" Stuart who?"
" Stuart little, duh!" She said with a funny sigh.
" oh you got me." I said trying to concentrate on my phone map cause I don't remember how to get home.
" haha silly!" She laughed, it was the cutest thing ever.
