Chaoter 29~ just stay out of it

Lauren's pov:

" I love the sunsets here!" I said as I looked out to the water from our seats.
" me too, they are pretty." Jason said as he looked at me.
" how would you know? you're looking at me." I said as I looked at him.
" oh I was talking about something else I'm looking at." Jason smiled.
" smooth." I whispered but he heard and laughed.
" I know I am." He laughed.
I laughed a looked around.

My smile soon became into a frown.

" what?" Jason asked.
" he's here Jason." I said in a lower voice.
" who?" Jason turned around and saw him.
Darriss and one other guy.
" Jason."
" do you want me to take care of him now? Or when you're not around?" Jason asked.
" I don't care just do it." I said worriedly.
" keep a close eye on him, we will eat, then I will do what I need to do." Jason said as I saw him tense up.
" why is he here?!" I asked sorta stressed.

jason pulled his laptop out of his bookbag and put it up on the table.
" Miami is full of gangs, he might be with another gang or helping another gang, but I don't really know. Just stay calm, I emailed fredo and told him to bring support, he's bringing Brandon and Ariana with him." Jason said.
" wait you knew he was going to be here!?" I asked sorta mad.
" well not here, I umm figured he would be looking for us. But, they should be here tomorrow, Brandon is going to find his location and we will do a quick attack, unless you want me to do it tonight?" Jason asked.

" I honestly don't care Jason. Just don't get hurt whatever you do." I said as I rubbed my head.
" he didn't see us come in, and he doesn't know we are here, or he would've came over, don't worry, I have this planned out." Jason said as he took my hand.
" I believe you." I said looking in his eyes.

It's more anger then fear I have for darriss, he did something I wasn't prepared for and something that has never happened to me. It was fear at first but now I want him dead or in jail, I prefer him dead tho.

jaosn looked over at his laptop then back over at me.
" don't let him ruin this night, this is our night." Jason said as he kisses my hand.
" I won't" I smiled.
" here you guys go, enjoy!" Macy said as she put our food on the table.
" thank you!" Jason and I said at the same time.
" ok anything else?" She asked.
" I think we are good thank you Macy." Jason said as he grabbed salt and ketchup.

I Ordered a BLT with fries and Jason got a burger with fries. A normal meal.
" so how long will fredo and all them be here?" I asked.
" no let's talk about something different then gang stuff." Jason said.
" oh okay like what?" I asked as i started eating my fries.
" well, how about you. I may have been spying on you, but I don't know your life story." Jason said looking straight into my eyes.
" I thought you knew it, my mother passes away a couple months ago.." Jason cut me off.
" no that isn't your life story, you're talking about your mother, I want Lauren martinez not Mary-lee molora ."
" umm okay, but how do you know my moms name?" I asked.
" I just do, but go ahead." Jason said " okay well umm I used to play soccer, and run track, but I got a concussion and couldn't play it anymore. I'm a only child. My bestfriends are gale and Ana even though gale died. I like pop and rap music but can handle any kinds. Jason this is ridiculous." I said laughing.
" no it isn't why would you say this is ridiculous?" Jason asked.
" because you know this stuff." I said.

" no, I didn't know you ran track, and I didn't know you got a concussion, you should've told me you got a concussion now I think about it because all the times you have been hurt a lot in your head, we should be careful with that."
I just laughed at his response.
" what?" He asked.
" you're crazy." I laughed and leaned in to kiss him.
" no you're crazy." He said as he put a strand of hair behind my ear.

we continued to eat and i fed jason some fries. We laughed and just talked. it was a nice and easy date.

" how was everything you guys?!" Mr.joe came over and asked us.
" oh it was great! Joe can I ask you a question real quick?" jaosn asked.
" yeah sure Jason."
" here sit down." I moved aside so he could sit down.
" what's up." Joe asked as he sat down.
" um do you know the guy over there, darriss?" Jason asked.
" oh yeah darriss donald he's a regular but he's new. Why?" Joe said.
" I need you to keep a eye on him. He's a threat to my gang, and especially lauren. Here is my number, text me as soon as he leaves this place." Jason said seriously.
