Chapter 35:

Lauren's pov:

" I love this song!" I turned up the music.
" if your chick come close to me she ain't going home where she post to be." I started singing and Jason looked at me like I was crazy.
" what?" I laughed as he pulled up to pops.
" you you're just crazy." He laughed.
" ok your point is?" I asked as he walked around and held my hand.
" why is it like packed here?" I asked looking at the huge amount of cars here.
" I don't really know?" Jason responded confused.
We walked up the stairs and Jason opened the door for me.
" SURRPRISEEE!!" Everyone was there, the whole gang, and Alex's gang and back up guys I've seen before, everyone but fredo.
" surprise baby." Jason said as I turned towards him.
" Jason." I hugged him and he kissed me and everyone was reacted.
" aweeeee."

We laughed and walked inside and joe came up and gave me a friendly hug.
" happy birthday warrior." He said childishly.
" haha thank you joe."
" Jessica!" I ran up and gave her a hug.
I haven't seen her in forever.
" happy birthday Lauren OMG your 18 dude." She said smiling.
" we have so much to talk about later!" I said.
" yeah we do!" Jess said.
" do you want something to drink baby?" Jason whispered in my ear from behind me.
" I'm okay." I said.
I stopped him from leaving.
" who did all this?" I asked.
" Ariana and Brandon and Jess and Ryan. Alex and them just got here." Jason said over the loud music.
" where's fredo?" I asked looking around.
" SHORTTYY WE HERE!!!!" I heard fredo but could see him.
" I can hear him." Jason said holding my hand walking with me around to the front.
I couldn't believe who I just saw.
" ANA!" I ran towards her and she caught me in a hug.
" omg I've missed you so muchh girll!" I said as I stood up and saw fredo holding a puppy with something around it's collar.
" from the one and only Jason McCann." Fredo said handing me the puppy.
I looked over at Jason and he smiled.

It was a Irish wolfhound, I could tell by it's fur, it was so small though.
" remember the first time at the Miami house? You said you wanted a dog? " Jason asked.
" OMG Jason yes!"
" you got her." Jason smiled and pet her.
" what's this?" I asked looking at the little box on her collar.
" present number 2 from someone special."
Someone special?
I opened the box and there was a note and a necklace.

~ Happy 18th baby girl. I love you so much and I really hope you're with Jason! I know he will take care if you and your sassy self. I'm sorry I can't spend your 18th with you but I'm sure it will be a blast, I'm watching you right now and I'm always watching you. I had this necklace made for you a week after your 17th but as you know I was in the ER so I could never give it to you, so I wanted someone who I trusted to give to you, take care of it and whenever you wear it you'll remember me.

My eyes filled with tears, my heart sank. My mom, oh I wish she was here so badly.
I looked at the necklace and it was a key with her initials engraved next to mine. Outlining the key was a quote.
" you have to speak your mind, you may see a change when you do."
I looked up at Jason crying a little.
" don't cry baby." He said wiping the tears from my face.
" thank you." I said hugging him and the dog in between us.
" what are you gonna name her?" Jason asked.
" I kinda like karma. How bout you?" I asked.
" karma It is." Jason smiled.

" oh my friend Tay is here as the dj I want you to meet him. " Jason said as I gave the dog to Ana to hold.
" be right back. Oh wait Jason!" I pulled on his arm.
" hm?" He questioned.
" wait have you met her yet?" I asked.
" who Ana? No." Jason said.
" wow surprising. Ana this is my boyfriend Jason , Jason this is my bestfriend Ana ."
" nice to finally meet you Jason."
" you too."Jason said shaking her hand.
" okay ill be back."
Jason led me over to the dj, his logo said " we know the dj"
" yo Tay!" Jason said as he took the beats out his ears.
" hey McCann how's things going!?"
" good, this is the birthday Girl my girlfriend Lauren.
" nice to meet you and happy birthday." He shook my hand.
" nice to meet you."
Jason whispered something into tays ear and he nodded.
" one last thing real quick." Jason said as he led me through a crowd of people out to the sand, there were a couple people out there at table but it wasn't crowded, I slipped my heels off.
" first." Jason out the necklace around my neck.
" thank you."
" and two."
The music turned on and it was Sam smith~ I'm not the only one, Jason and my song.
" can I have this dance?" He asked putting his hand out.
" of course." I smiled and took his hand, he then put his hands on my waist and I put my arms around his neck.
" for better or for worse." Jason sung quietly.
" Jason." I whispered.
" hm?"
" everyone is watching us." I saw the corner of my eyes everyone stopped talking a watching us. I felt my face get red.
" let them. This is for you."
" I love you."
" I love you too."
He kissed my forehead and then leaned his forehead against mine.
