chapter 21~ hawks eye

Jason's pov:

" who are you?" The little girl asked me as Lauren drove.
" my name is Jason, what's your name?"
" Giana." She said stutterly.
" nice to meet you, how old are you?" I asked her she held up three fingers.
" wow you're very smart for a 3 year old!" I said as nicely I could.
" I'm in preschool." She smiled.
" do you have any friends in your class?" I asked.
" yeah." She responded.
" what's their names?" I asked as I rubbed the back of my head cause it hurt.
" I don't know." She said.

she laid her head back, I could tell she was getting tired.
" sweetie can you please stay awake until you get to the house?" I asked her kindly.
" but I sleepy." She yawned.
" I know, but you'll be able to sleep when you get there." I said as I put my hand on her forehead to make sure she didn't have a fever, thank god she didn't.

" here, okay let's go!" Lauren said as she parked in the driveway.
I got out and held Giana, we all walked up to the house together.

" Matt we are here!" Lauren yelled out loud.
" ow my ears hurt." Giana covered her ears.
" I'm sorry honey." Lauren said as she checked Giana's head which start to bleed again.
" what happened, oh my. Who is this?" Matt asked as he saw all of us ashy and then saw Giana.
" this is Giana, we need you to check her head up." I said as I walked with Matt.
" where we going?" She asked as she wrapped her arms tightly around my neck.
" we are going to make your head feel better." I said as I walked down the stairs following Matt to the medical side of basement.
We walked thru Alfredo's room to matts check up room.
" who is him?" Giana asked. " his name is fredo, you can meet him later," I said as I put her on the bed.
" ok!"

" Jason can you please step out for a second, I need space." Matt said as he washed his hands.
" I'll be back sweetie." I said as i went to walk but she held onto my arm.
" is he nice?" She whispered.
" of corse he is." I smiled then left.
" what the hell happened to you?" Fredo asked as I walked thru his room.
" bomb attack." I said as I left and went upstairs to check on Lauren.

" Jason what happened and where's Lauren and Ariana?" Jessica came running up to me.
" Lauren should either be upstairs or something, and there was a bomb attack at robanos down on sharp but I have to go check up on Lauren." I said as I went to walk upstairs.
" she's not up there Jason I already looked." Jessica said grabbing my arm.
" shit she might have went back to Ariana." I grabbed my phone and dialed her number.
I heard it ring, it was in the kitchen... But she wasn't.

" LAUREN!" Jessica screamed as she ran around the house.
" shit." I grabbed her phone then ran upstairs.
I dialed Ariana's number and she answered.
" Ariana is Lauren with you?" I asked panicky.
" no I thought she left with you!" Ariana says worried.
" fuck." I hung the phone up and ran over to my tracking device on her.
I turned it on a it kept saying no device available.
" what?" I was confused.
She couldn't have gotten the device out her arm.

I ran downstairs.
" we are in trouble." I said to Jessica as Ryan walked in.
" what do you mean? Where is she?" Jessica asked.
" what's going on?" Ryan asked closing the door.
" Lauren, I can't find her and I can't get any reception on her tracker. Get Derek we need a meeting." I ran downstairs.
" is this what happened to you?" Fredo asked as he pointed at the tv with the news on.
" yeah." I ran into the room Matt was in.

Giana was sleeping.

" Lauren is missing." I whispered trying not to wake Giana up.
" bring her upstairs I'll be up in a sec I have to check up on fredo." Matt said as he went over to his laptop.
I went over and carefully picked up Giana and brought her upstairs.
" is that Giana Harrison?" Jessica asked as I put the child on the couch.
" I just know her name is Giana, how do you know her?" "I'm friends with her parents. Why do you have her?" Jessica asked confused.
" she was in the restaurant, her mother was killed, does she have a father?" I asked.
