On the bad days, when Sarah Cameron had an exceptionally terrible, horrible, no-good day, Bianca Prescott knew exactly how to fix it. Whether it was Rose' incorrigible attitude, Wheezie's pestering nuisances or just a bad grade on a math exam, Bianca knew exactly how to cheer up her best friend.

The list usually, it composed of ice-cream (rocky road was Sarah's favorite), The Vampire Diaries reruns and karaoke into their hairbrushes. Though, this was practically made for Sarah who'd spend hours crying over a boy- who, if you asked Bianca, were nowhere near good enough to be in her league- so naturally, none of this worked for her.

To be fair, in Sarah's defence, Bianca rarely ever revealed if something ever bothered her- props to Lydia Prescott's immaculate emotional conditioning of her daughter to never feel anything.

Instead, Bianca went for a different approach- pretending nothing ever happened.

The sun beat down on her tan skin, engulfing her in a feeling of bliss. The smell of the salt water and the sunscreen slathered on her body always brought comfort to her, especially when paired with the warm rays of the sun and the slight breeze which grazed over the surface of her skin every few minutes.

"Hey, B," Sarah waved as she climbed up the boat's ladder followed by John B, both of them slick with water.

The Routledge boy sent her cheesy smile, shaking his hair like a dog so little droplets splashed on the girl, "Come on, the water's so nice."

"No thanks," Bianca mumbled, pulling her glasses down slightly to scowl as the couple dripped water all over the deck.

Her eyes were still red and puffy from the night prior, although she'd masterfully covered it with makeup just as she did the fading bruises around her neck. Bianca had gotten unnervingly good at concealing things since dating Rafe, so much so that even Sarah seemed to brush it aside.

The four had taken Heyward's boat for a day out on the marsh, Pope informing them he'd join later. John B, JJ and Sarah had turned up at her house and practically dragged her out of bed, her best-friend thought it was better to go out and soak up the sun rather than wilt away into her comforters like Bianca would've eventually done. Nevertheless, she had been in a bad mood all morning because of it, but the boys had other plans.
