Y/N's POV 

Its been two years since I saw Nicki, I will always love her but I can't forgive her for what she did.

"Peekaboo" I cooed 

She giggled in return and reached her arms up for me. I picked up my 1 year old daughter, Summer

"Jai, let's go buddy" I said to my step son, well I don't call him my step son when people ask. I just call him my son

"Bae we're ready, are you done?" I asked walking into me and my girlfriend's shared bedroom 

"I'm ready baby, see" Caresha answered spraying her perfume 

Caresha and I met at a club about five months after I left Nicki, when we met I thought she just wanted a one night stand until she told me that she wanted to get to know me and we kind of hit it off from there

She knows all about my relationship with Nicki and how it ended and when I told her about it, she admitted she had a son since I wasn't familiar with her at the time

"You look beautiful as always my baby" I smiled looking her up and down. She walked over to me and pecked my lips

"Thank you baby, you look fine....I just wanna-" I cut her off with a kiss only for Summer to smack me which made me pull away from the kiss

"I'm sorry ma'am did I do you wrong?" I asked her

"My mommy" she said furrowing her eyebrows at me

Caresha laughed as she took Summer from me before kissing all over her face

"She's my mami too though"

"No mine" 

"No she's-"

"Okay let's go, we're already late" my girlfriend said and walked away causing us to stop bickering but before they left the room Summer stuck her tongue out

I shook my head at her, like mother like daughter

As we stepped out of the SUV cheers and screams were heard, flashing lights and the clicking of cameras from fans and paparazzi 

We just arrived at the VMA and I held Summer as Caresha held Jai's hand as we walked down the carpet 

We stopped for an interview and while Caresha and JT talked with the interviewer, my eyes roamed the area and I locked eyes with my ex

She was about a quarter way down the carpet with this guy, I wasn't jealous because I also moved on, but what had me puzzled was the bump in front of her

A few weeks ago she tweeted that she was expecting and this had me upset and a little hurt, she aborted my baby but she kept his....but it's whatever 

I'm happy with my life right now, I have a beautiful girlfriend and two amazing kids.  I wouldn't trade them for the world

Soon the interview ended and we headed inside to our a assigned seats only to realize that she'd be right beside me

Caresha and I talked along with the kids to other celebrities as we waited for the ceremony to start

The silence between Nicki and I was deafening 

Summer was sitting in my lap playing with me before she spotted Nicki, she looked at her for a while before smiling

From my side veiw I saw Nicki smile and wave. Nicki reached for her but Summer wasn't having it and turned away from her giving her attention to the host that was speaking
