The Past and Present 3

Third Person POV

"Wooo!" both Beyoncé and Bryan cheered as well as half of the gymnasium

The Lakers had just scored and won the basketball game. While the two were out there celebrating their win, Y/N was still in her office

"Seriously why are you here?" Y/N asked as she packed back and forth in her office

"I already told you babe, I missed you. You haven't texted or called in 6 months"

"Because we are separated and waiting on the divorce and that stunt you pulled earlier was not cool. what if someone had seen us?" Y/N asked as she looked at the door to her office

"Since when have you been concerned about who sees you?... Is there someone in this office that has your attention?"

"Normani-"

"There is" she gasped before a sly smirk made its way to her face

"You know what? I think I'm gonna stick around for a while. You know to catch up on our law firm... partner" she said and chuckled before gathering her stuff and leaving the CEO's office

As soon a the door closed Y/N angrily bushed all the documents off her desk including her laptop causing her sigh in regret afterwards

However the thought of Beyoncé came to her mind and so Y/N picked up her phone. She proceeded to open her phone to find it on the contact number she wanted to see more than anything at the moment. Finally making the bold step, she pressed the contact and immediately the dial tone could be heard

The longer it rang the more nervous the CEO grew. She however sighed in relief when the younger woman did not answer but another side of her was troubled

Eventually Y/N decided to go home. The ride home was filled with soft love songs playing from the speakers of the CEO's Mercedes-Benz. Y/N arrived home and looked after a quick dinner as she suddenly remembered there was a match happening tonight. She didn't bother to check on the guest house where Beyoncé currently resides as she was more excited for this exciting game

Grabbing her tray that held her dinner and a bottle of beer, she sat back in her couch and turned on the television. It was all good until the game hit the half way mark and the camera started showing the crowd

Y/N stopped chewing her last bite of food when she spotted Beyoncé in the crowd cheering along with her other employee. As if things couldn't get worse, the kisscam came on and guess who it landed on?...

"Oh hell nah" Y/N drew out when she saw the two up close on the camera

Beyoncé blushed as the crowd chanted for her and Bryan.

"You better not Beyoncé I swear" Y/N found herself saying then it hit her that the two aren't together

Bryan grinned before he got a firm hold of Beyoncé's face and kissed her. The camera had already shifted and so Y/N didn't see when Beyoncé pushed Bryan away and left the gymnasium

Monday

Y/N walked into her enterprise without a word and the entire staff knew that today was not gonna be a good day for anyone

The CEO was angry, hurt and felt somewhat betrayed after seeing the woman she wanted for so long kissing another person that wasn't her

Y/N slammed her door shut and made her way to her desk, spinning the chair in the direction of the glass wall. She took in the view of the city which helped her to calm down somewhat but her peace was interrupted by her partner
