Y/N's POV

I was walking the halls by myself through the fairly crowded hallways of the school when I felt a familiar arm got linked into mine

"Hey baby" she said confirming my suspensions

I looked to my side and down at my girlfriend of 3 years. Normani and I have been together since Sophmore year; Normani was new to the school and my nerdy self decided to help her out. Of course the stronger guys picked on me when I tried to stand up for Normani at times

A lot has changed since then. I'm not really the nerdy type anymore but I do get good grades, I've joined the track team and that helps me to stay in shape for my baby

She's always hyping me up about my physical featured and all just as much as I do to her.

"Hey babygirl" I said before I came to a stop at our lockers but before she could open hers I pulled her into a kiss

The 'I missed you so much' kind of kiss which made her knees buckled and a moan to escape her lips

I haven't seen her all week since I was out of town with the track team for a week line of events for a competition

"Look at these two nerds sucking faces looking like two birds pecking at each other"

The voice made me internally groan. I rolled my eyes and pulled away from the kiss to face Arin and his crew

"At least I have a girl to be sucking faces with" I bit back and the halls filled with 'oohs'

"At least I'm not fucking on sloppy left overs" Arin smirked

"Arin let's just end this. We all know you're doing this because I chose Y/N over you. Just let it go that was years ago" Normani chimed in

"Shut up bitch" Arin snapped and I felt something come over me

"Hey! Don't call my girl out of her name, in fact not only my girl, didn't your mom teach you how to treat women?" I questioned as I stopped up to him

As I did two of his guys stepped up as well but I wasn't phased by them

"Looks like someone is finally out of their little boy briefs cause he got a lot of nerve to be stepping up to me" Arin answered as we had an intense stare down

"Well you see a different side of me when you disrespect the ones I care deeply for" I bit back

As I did I felt my hands forming into fists and he caught sight of them as well

"What you gonna do about it then punk cause all you got running is yo mouth"

"Y/N lets just go" Normani said softly as she tugged on my arm

"Yeah listen to your bottom bitc-" before Arin could finish his sentence I punched him in his nose and he stumbled back

It wasn't long before his guys started attacking me but it was like I had this undescribable strength and I couldn't feel any of their punches but they sure as hell could've felt mine

"Oh my God! Y/N!" Normani called out once the three young adults were layed groaning on the floor of the school halls

I grabbed her hand before we ran out to the back of the school before the securities or the principal found us

We made it out to the field and we sat under a tree where no one or cameras could see us

"Thanks for sticking up for me" Normani said and gave me a sweet kiss

"No need to thank me babe. You know I'll always be there for you" I confessed

"Are you sure about that?" She asked
