The Goddess of the River 3

Y/N's POV

I smiled at the sight before me as she floated in the middle of the aquatic creatures

She motioned for me to closer to her and I did. She held my hand like the first time and took me behind the falls

We were both standing on a rock between the wall and the falls, of course she had to stand at the edge of the rock closer to the falls

"Don't you ever get lonely here?" I asked her breaking the silence, the falls was the only noise that could be heard

"It does but I have my friends" she smiled

"The creatures?"

"Yes and they do have names you know" she said

She turned and touched the falls and it parted like curtains to give a little more light

"I do get lonely but when you control water and own all of this, you have responsibilities so then again I'm not always bored" she added

"So you make friends this easily with other campers?"

"No, and remember we didn't start off as friends, and that reminds me. You still haven't sang yet" she before turning to me with her signature raised eyebrow

As she turned to me the falls went back together

"I don't sing, but you do. I love your voice it's beautiful" I said and she blushed

"My face is heating up" she said poking her cheeks confused

"Its called blushing, your blushing" I explained

"What?" 

Then curiosity and hormones got the best of me 

"Have you ever kissed anyone?" I asked her 

"No" she said and looked down 

"Have you ever thought about doing it?" 

"No...not until now" she answered and looked up at me with a shy smile 

I leaned in and pressed my lips against hers before pulling away

"How was that for your first kiss?" I smirked

Instead of answering she pulled me back in for a real kiss. 

As our lips molded together I placed my hands on her waist and pulled her closer to me but it seemed as her foot slipped because next thing I know we were back in the water

I went to pull away from the kiss but she held the back of my head and wrapped her legs around me

I was so focused on the kiss as we both sank to the bottom of the river that I didn't even realize I could actually breathe under water

"Y/N/N!" I heard a faint voice yell but I ignored it and kept the kiss going

"Y/N/N I'm sorry! Just come on, I'll stop being annoying!" I heard Mathew yell and Beyoncè pulled away

She grinned at me before pecking my lips and whispered "Go"

I nodded and swam up to the surface and gasped for air

"There, she's right there!" Jermain said as I swam over to them

"We've been looking for you" Phill said and helped me out of the river

Mathew clinged to me in a hug and was mumbling 'sorry' over and over

"Its alright Matt" I said 

"Come on let's go" Cam said and we started on our way back to the camping site 

Before we reached far I looked back at the river at Beyoncè. I waved her goodbye and she smiled before going back under water
