Ichiro pov.

The next few days I avoided Reki as much as I could, which worked out well because he gave me my space, but I feel so empty without him by my side. It feels like I'm back in the same state as I was four years ago. I also don't skate very often anymore, because without Reki I'm slowly losing the fun of it. "It's only fun when you have someone to share the fun with" I mumble sadly and look at the ground "is it about the thing with Reki again? Just talk to him" "If it was that easy... I regret yelling at him like that, but that was our first real fight. I have no idea what to say if I were to talk to him" my sister sighs annoyed "Just let your heart speak. You're best friends. Everyone fights at some point, you just have to find your way back to each other" where she's right, she's right. "I better go now. Not that I'm going to be late for school" smiling slightly I give her a kiss on the top of her head. "You're off today, aren't you? Call me if anything happens, ok?" laughing she nods and then pushes me outside. Maybe I should today. I just do it. I get on my skateboard and head to Reki, Langa's, and my normal meeting place, where Langa is standing with his cell phone in his hand. I bite my lip and stop next to him before dismounting and waiting with him for Reki. Langa, on the other hand, looks at me in surprise. "Did you get along again?" he asks, whereupon I look at him and shake my head with a sad look on my face, "Too bad. You know, he hasn't been the same since that day... He rarely smiles anymore and when he's training for beef he only makes mistakes... I'm really worried about him. If he continues like this, he will hurt himself" sadly I look at the floor "I'm sorry..." surprised he looks at me. Just as he was about to say something we hear a loud shout "Langa!" Reki comes running towards us. His look, which was slightly sad before, brightened as I looked into his face "I'd better-"I was about to drive off, but Langa holds me smiling "At least stay close to him" surprised I look at him. Reki stops by us and tries to look me in the eye but I skillfully avoid eye contact. "Morning" I say carefully and look at the ground "Morning Ichiro" I widen my eyes slightly in surprise. Has his voice always been so soft and raspy. "Shall we get going then?" asks Langa slightly pleased at the situation. Me and Reki look at each other for a moment and then nod. We drove off and there was an awkward silence. Reki is watching me the whole time and Langa is watching both of us. So I have both of their eyes on me which is very uncomfortable, so I drive faster and arrive earlier at the school where I immediately hurriedly ran into the class and sat down in my seat. A few of my classmates come up to me and engage me in conversation, so I don't notice that Reki's gaze immediately turns jealous when he enters the class. My conversation stops when our teacher enters the class and we start Japanese. After class comes recess and then we have sports. Sighing, I change my clothes, getting goosebumps from Reki's gaze, which is already on me again. Why does he have to look at me like that all the time? He makes me totally nervous. Sighing, I go to the gym and start warming up. I decided to play some volleyball with the girls while the boys play soccer. I made this decision not because of Reki, but simply because I'm not a big fan of soccer. We are just about to play when the boys start yelling. Immediately we turn to them where we see Reki being held by Langa and one of our class being held by two other boys. Reki doesn't look happy at all and tries to wriggle out of Langa's grip, but Langa is stronger than him. What happened there? Sighing, I run to the two and look at the teacher who waves at me and asks if I can take them with me so as not to interrupt the class any further "What happened anyway?" I ask the two on the way to the principal's office "He threw himself at me all of a sudden and attacked me" my eyes widen slightly. I don't know Reki that way "But only because you provoked me all the time" I squint slightly at Reki who is looking at our classmate angrily. However,  I recognize a small grin on Takabayashis lips before he puts on an innocent face, "That's not true at all. Why are you making up lies? You were just annoyed because I played better than you" Reki gives him a nasty look and wants to go for him again but I hold him in time "Reki, damn what got into you?" after wrapping my arms around him to hold him tight, I notice him getting goosebumps and pausing in his movements. "Sorry... I'm kind of easily irritated right now" sighing I let go of him and nod "Alright, I'll let you get away with it this time, but next time you'll get in trouble" I mutter and then knock on the principal's office. "Come in" I open the door "Your parents are being called right now. Ichiro you can go back to class now. Thanks for bringing them here" I had no choice anyway. Whether I wanted to or not I would have had to do it anyway "No problem" I smiled playfully and bowed slightly, then I walked out of the office and go back to class where I walk up to Langa who is just staring off into nothing. I cover his eyes causing him to flinch "Well who am I?" I ask laughing lightly as he takes my hands from his eyes and smiles softly at me. I sit down next to him and stare at the soccer field together with him "Do you know what Takabayashi's provocation was about?" I ask Langa who is now looking at me. I also turn my head "I think I heard that it was about you. I don't know what it's about exactly, but if Takabayashi mentioned you, it was clear that Reki would tick off at some point" confused I look at him. "What do you mean by that" "Reki is very quick to provoke when it comes to you anyway and after your fight it got even worse. Because you are no longer with him all the time he feels quote "as if a part of me has been taken away" and he immediately becomes jealous when he sees someone with you or quickly becomes aggressive when someone mentions that you are no longer with him or badmouths you. You are his world" shocked I widen my eyes
