Chapter 38: Lunch

Today I'll be officially signing a contract with Sarah.

She was all excited while I was reading the pages.

Everything about the contract seems fair to me. I play with the back of my pen while making it produce some sound.

"You can stop stalling and sign the papers now." Sarah said jokingly.

"Can I really trust you? I might end up regretting this." I replied cautiously.

She chuckled and attempt to throw one of her pens at me.

"Wow, throwing a pen at me right now is really helping my decision." I said with a friendly sarcasm.

"You can trust me.. the same way I trust you.. you know." she said confidently while winking.

I shook my head when she winked.

I took one final glance and finally signed the contract.

"There you have it.. Boss.." I said as I stood up for a business handshake.

"Good choice.. we're going to have so much fun." She said while shaking my hand firmly.

I force a smile.

"Depends on your definition of fun." I replied.

She chuckled softly and then hit my shoulder.

"Stop being so cranky.." she said.

Sarah formally introduce me to all her staff as the new model.

They all rejoice and thank and welcome me in their arms.

Her marketing team wasted no time in doing their job.

They set a meeting with me and explain their concept for commerials and publicity.

"Wow.. It seems like everything is already prepared." I said.

Right after signing the contract.

I was already sent to shoot my first commercial.

My mom came to cheer for me.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." I said while checking my outfit in the mirror.

"You look great sweety.." she mentioned looking proud and happy.

"Thanks mom. Don't you think these lines are too cheesy?" I said while frowning at the script.

"I have no idea.." she said laughing.

I shook my head and start reading my lines mentally as I walk towards the set.

I saw Sarah standing by and being pretty hands on with everything.

"What are you doing here?" I asked curiously.

She turn her attention to me.

"Should I not be here?" She asked

"Well, I thought you should just watch the final cut and make your evaluation." I replied.
