Finally, Carlisle, Esme, and Dorothea have reached Egpty after touring many vampires who easily accepted Carlisle's proposal to become witnesses, not war soldiers. Dorothea had stepped out, letting the wind blow through her hair and skirt while she took in Amun's castle.

It's been a long time since she visited Amun, she never liked the man and how submissive his mate is to even every wrong decision Amun made. But Carlisle sees the man as his friend which is the only reason Dorothea stood up to Amun's behavior.

Carlisle had Esme gone front, taking the role as Dorothea followed behind her parent. They undoubtedly encounter the coven's leader much to Dorothea's pleasure in meeting the man so early on. Dorothea stood, bored as Carlisle negotiate with Amun, moving around on her heels while examing the palace.

The young vampire then reaped interest with Amun's continued evolution of expression, sometimes mimicking soft laughter coming out of her mouth.

Kebi, Amun's mate would catch the girl sometimes for mocking her king but she did nothing. Found it more entertaining than her mate's screeches. "Amun, please!" / "I cannot help you, Carlisle!"

"I wouldn't ask if it weren't urgent!" / "You must go!" And there becomes the screaming competition, at this point it doesn't matter who has a purpose, it's all about who is the loudest to get through the person's skull.

Dorothea knowing this is operating nowhere plus getting a painful headache from Amun's tone, walks away to the door for some fresh air but someone has made the water in their small house pool rise like a wall to block the doorway.

She at first let out an offended scoff for blocking her way but turned around to meet with another vampire she never met and a panicked Amun face. "I'd like to hear about it. I never get to meet any of Amun's friends. He likes to keep me hidden."

Carlisle and Esme shared a startled yet astonished look and emotion before the male responded to the vampire, "I can't imagine why." The un-introduced vampire makes the waterfall back into the pool, and he walks up to Carlisle and they shake hands.

"Benjamin."

A mischievous intention went by Dorothea's mind at this, she obtained a way to convert Amun now thanks to this Benjamin. With a stalwart and confident step, hands behind her posterior Dorothea walk up to Amun with a look like she caught the man in action.

Skipping past Benjamin, Kebi, Esme, and Carlisle's questioning looks.

"Amun~ Oh, Amun~ What is this?!" Amun had taken a step back, intimidated by the glimpse given to him, but essentially knowing the powers and upper hand Dorothea has between them. "You didn't tell me you got a fresh member in the coven."

"That's-"

"Now, before you start making some pretence, Munny. If, I, Dorothea Caddel Whitlock Cullen, have no trace of this unexpected new member that would indicate one thing. The Volturi's doesn't too. Correct?" Dorothea had played to be thinking about her statements, but a burst of creepy evil laughter broke her fraudulent action, seeing Amun's timid look.

Benjamin and Kebi observe in amazement at how Dorothea could efficiently break down their leader, acknowledging how stubborn and high ego the man has. Carlisle had softly shaken his head but was exultant at how Dorothea caught up with this while Esme giggled at Dorothe's villainous performance.

Dorothea had to pull Amun closer, forcing him to stand upright while she put on an innocent look as she fixes Amun's clothes from the theoretical dust. "Considering you're transgressing the law already, Munny. Do us a courtesy and just stand there in the corner while we discuss with Aro... or~... My mouth can just accidentally slip out your mistake."

Dorothea smirks witnessing Amun becoming pale.

"I wonder what. would. happen. to your beloved coven, hm?" Dorothea didn't say any following, perceiving she got Amun wrapped in her tiny little fingers. Gracefully walking out of the place while waving at Amun without looking at him, "Carlisle will explain everything else. I'll be expecting you in Forks, Amun."

Dorothea didn't desire to spend another minute in the same with the coven's leader, bequeathing Carlilse to reveal everything to Benjamin about their situation. "Was she always that compelling?" Benjamin proposes once Amun too had left the room due to humiliation for being put down by a teen vampire.

For once Kebi chuckled a genuine one which hysteria Benjamin for the woman is as quiet as a statue. "She's more than just powerful, Benjamin. If she wanted to, she could have the whole world under her feet. You haven't seen her at full potential yet, dear. She's like a devil dressed daydream, if she were to reveal, it's the end for many."

Kebi could tell how much further impressed Benjamin had become but brought the boy's awareness back to Carlisle about the war currently happening. "You must be very proud, Carlisle. You too Esme."

The Cullen's leader and wife gave a superior grin as their shoulder increased for having Dorothea as their daughter. "Proud is not enough."

"She has always been there for us and has every reason to leave but she stayed. We own her a lot. She being here, seeking help with us to fight against her first family means a bunch already." Benjamin gave Carlisle a confused look hearing 'first family' but didn't further question it knowing it was personal.
