A Fall from Grace, and His Rise from Disgrace

Revenge Part One

  The second school day passed by quite quickly. Class 1A just had regular lessons, like maths, English literature and sciences. They would be having their first heroics class after lunch.

  But that was after lunch, and Izuku was not looking forward to taking his mask off in a room full of curious teenagers.

  "I really need to bring the eating problem up to Powerloader." He clicked.

  Izuku and Ochako took their trays from Lunch Rush, who greeted Izuku warmly, and looked for a seat.

  Izuku clicked a couple times to get Ochako's attention and headed for a table in the corner occupied by a single person.

  "May we sit with you?" Izuku clicked.

  Todoroki nodded, returning to his meal.

  Izuku sat facing the wall, while Ochako sat opposite him.

  He calmly took his mask off and began eating. Todoroki's eyes had narrowed slightly.

  "We are very similar Mask. Your scars could only come from one kind of quirk, and one kind of person. An arrogant fool, obsessed with strength, and being the best."

  Izuku snorted in amusement, nodding his agreement.

  "Endeavour and Bakugo are very similar." He clicked.

  Todoroki nodded, returning his attention to the soba. A strange bond formed between them. Understanding and sympathy.

  Surprisingly, Mina hadn't come over and tried to peek at Izuku's scars. That was perhaps because Kirishima kept her at their table, grabbing her every time she tried to dart off.

  Once lunch had ended, it was time for their heroics class.

  "I wonder who our teacher is going to be." Someone murmured.

  "I am..."

  Izuku's mood immediately soured. Nezu had revealed the true identities of Toshinori and Inko Yagi to Izuku, who had grown to despise the two 'heroes'.

  "Coming through the door like a hero!" All Might said, coming through the door like an idiot. Viridian Storm followed behind him. All Might seemed to be the main act here though.

  "Good afternoon class! Viridian Storm and I will be your Heroics teachers this year! Now, for this lesson you'll be doing... BATTLE TRAINING!!" All Might bellowed.

  Viridian Storm pulled out a remote and activated the cases in the wall.

  "You'll be needing your hero costumes for this excersise. Put them on, and head to ground Beta." She said.

  The two heroes then left, and the students each grabbed their costume cases and headed to the changing rooms.

  Izuku lagged behind the others, entering the changing room just as they were pulling their costumes on.

  "Mask, you must get changed quickly, or you will be late to class!" Iida exclaimed, walking out of the changing rooms in a set of armour.

  Izuku nodded quickly, stepping inside.

  Todoroki was the last one there, probably for the same reasons as Izuku. The other boy was covered in burn scars, different to the one on his face.

  "Fire and water?" Izuku clicked.

  Todoroki nodded, pulling a blue jumpsuit with short sleeves on.

  "Endeavour is a.. tough trainer." He said quietly.
