Izuku sat in the common room, staring blankly into space. She had been right there and he was completely useless, just like he'd always been.

The police had confirmed that Shigaraki was still securely locked up in Tartarus, which meant that the League was acting under a new leader.

Or at least, the real leader had stepped out of the shadows.

Izumi had been their target, although nobody but Izuku, Nezu and All Might knew why.

The first thing Izuku had done when they returned to UA was punch the skinny blonde's stupid face.

"You get her back." He'd said. "You get Izumi back, even if he kills you."

Yagi senior had nodded, but remained silent, staring at the ground with regret in his eyes.

It's too late for you to start feeling regret.

Ochako sat down on his right, sliding her hand into his metal one.

"Izuku?" She asked. "I'm sure she'll be okay. Izumi's strong, plus they've got most of the top ten searching for her. Your dad and Izumi's parents are also helping. The league won't know what hit them, not with an angry Mr Aizawa after them!"

Izuku snorted, resting his head on Ochako's shoulder.

  "Thanks Ochako." He clicked.

The rest of the class eventually came down from their rooms, despite the late hour.

"What's everybody doing up?" Ochako asked curiously.

  Iida held up his phone.

"Mr Aizawa messaged each of us, telling us to converge in the common room and turn on the news."

Kaminari picked up the remote and turned on the television, switching channels until Aizawa, Nezu and Vlad king came on screen. Izuku narrowed his eyes in confusion.

Dad hates the press with a passion.. and he wouldn't be caught dead in a suit and tie, or with a tidied appearance. He even shaved! Something's going on...

The rest of the class sat on the various sofas and armchairs around the common room, muttering to eachother in low, confused voices.

"What is the school doing in order to rescue the kidnapped student, Izumi Yagi?" A reporter asked.

"Both UA and the heroes involved are doing everything in their power to locate the villains. We have no doubt that we will find them and bring back miss Yagi." Nezu replied.

"But isn't this the third time your students have been attacked by the same villain group? How can the parents of the children attending UA trust you to keep their children safe?"

"Thanks to the efforts of one of our students, the leader of the League was arrested and another villain has been forced to take the role. We are confident that the rest of the League's members will follow Shigaraki into custody, and neither the students nor their parents will need to worry." Aizawa said.

The interview went on for another few minutes before ending, leaving the students a little shocked.

"Man, the reporters really went after Mr Aizawa huh?"

"No wonder he hates the media so much."

A few minutes after the conference ended, Aizawa entered the dormitory still in his suit, but with the tie loosened and his hair no longer pulled back.
