Izuku stared out of the bus window, watching the trees race by. The class were finally on their way to the summer camp, and we're almost at the first 'rest spot'.

Izuku considered the rest spot a 'rest spot' because he knew his father, and it was definitely a setup for another logical ruse.

They'd been seated in their classroom desk order, which led to his irritating blonde sister drooling on his shoulder.

Mina and Hagakure were giggling and taking pictures every so often, which Izuku tried to ignore. Shoto chuckled good naturedly every time Izuku sent him a deadpan plea for help. The message he received back was always the same.

  Your sister, your problem.

Izuku grumbled, sliding his phone back into his pocket as the bus slowed to a stop.

"Alright everybody, this is the first rest stop. You have fifteen minutes to stretch your legs, or do any of your other.. business." Aizawa said.

Izuku was the only one who noticed the excited tremor in his voice as he said 'rest stop'. Dadzawa just gave him a discreet wink when Izuku stared at him, unimpressed.

"Izuku, please wake up miss Yagi. It would be bad if she woke up and heard she'd missed the stop." Aizawa said, his eyes shifting to the side.

Izuku just grumbled, tucking his middle finger behind his thumb and flicking Izumi's nose.

"Gak-! Whas goin on?" She asked, sitting up straight.

"You were drooling. On. My. Shoulder." Izuku said through gritted teeth.

  Izumi chuckled.

"What, you don't want an adorable girl snoozing on your shoulder?" She asked, batting her eyelashes at him.

"Not when you're going to drool on me, no." He said straight faced.

Izuku stepped off the bus, raising his left arm above his head and stretching his whole body, letting out a grunt of satisfaction as several vertibrae clicked.

The rest of the class looked around in confusion, while Izuku looked on in appreciative wonder. He understood why his dad loved his logical ruses now, the suspense alone was exhilarating.

"Is this really the rest stop?" Kaminari asked.

A car stopped next to the bus, and two costumed women emerged.

They were two of the four members of the hero team, the Wild Wild Pussycats. The team was well known, and very successful in several rescue situations, each of their quirks being invaluable to the operations.

"We own the whole forest, so you can use your quirks to your heart's content! The lodge is at the base of that mountain over there in the distance! Kittens who don't make it by 12 won't get any lunch!" Mandalay was explaining.

The class were just starting to catch on, Izumi, Ochako and Shoto giving Izuku betrayed looks as Pixiebob threw them off the cliff with her earth manipulation.

Izuku just waved from atop the bus, watching his classmates fall. Aizawa chuckled to himself, the father and son wearing matching smiles as they peered down the cliff face.

"Hey, what are you doing up there?" Pixiebob asked.

"Staying away from you." Izuku replied.

"Leave him be. I'd be pretty disappointed if he didn't avoid the trap." Aizawa said.

Izuku snickered from atop the bus.

"That's because you're getting predictable there old man!" Izuku teased.

"I'll show you predictable!" Dadzawa replied, wrapping his capture weapon around Izuku and tugging him off of the bus before he Altered the material.

The hero caught his ward, throwing the mummified teen over his shoulder and stepping back onto the bus.

When they arrived at the lodge Izuku was introduced to the other pussycats, Ragdoll and Tiger, and helped them set things up for the soon to arrive students.

"By the way..." Izuku said quietly. "Who's kid is that?"

Mandalay gave Izuku a small smile.

"That's my nephew Kota. He's.. staying with us for the time being." She said.

Izuku hummed in acknowledgement before approaching the young boy.

"Hey there! My name's Mask, it's nice to meet you!" Izuku said, holding his hand out.

He dodged the surprisingly quick punch and watched as Kota walked away.

  "Midoribro!" A voice called.

Izuku turned to face the forest. Class 1A were beginning to emerge, 8 hours after they were given the task of reaching the lodge.

"How'd you get here so fast?" Mina asked in confusion.

"He wasn't thrown off the cliff. He jumped on top of the bus before Pixiebob shifted the earth." Shoto said, shivering slightly.

Bakugo's palms crackled for a moment before he hissed in pain and tore his gaze away from Izuku.

"Ah, you finally made it." Aizawa said with a deadpan expression.

Izuku chuckled to himself as the pussycats boasted to the class and gave them dinner.

Izuku joined his friends, laughing as they accused Aizawa of favouritism.

The pussycats showed the students their sleeping quarters, the main building's interior, the hot springs and the training field.

"It's not really a field, it's more of a collection of clearings and open areas that you will each be assigned to. You'll all be up bright and early to start your quirk training! Now, if you like you can head to the hot springs before turning in. You've got a long week ahead, so if recommend you go to bed early!" Mandalay said.

The whole class (bar one) nodded tiredly, thanking the heroine and trudged off towards the springs.

Izuku chipperly followed his classmates, earning an exhausted glare from Shoto.

The two let the other boys get changed and into the water first, then undressed themselves, following them out of the other door and into the springs area.

Izuku had removed his mask but left his arm on, sinking into the water with an appreciative sigh beside Shoto.

"What happened in the forest?" Izuku asked.

"There were these earth beasts that attacked us. Probably Pixiebob's quirk. We had to fight them as we went, but they didn't let up at all. They didn't hit very hard, but they were just so unrelenting.." Shoto explained.

Izuku hummed, sinking up to his chin in the hot water. The two of them were in a separate, smaller pool to the others, their scars obscured by the thick steam.

"What did you do while we were all suffering?" Shoto asked.

"I was just helping unload the bags on the bus and sort out a few of the training areas for tomorrow. Met a kid who tried to punch me in the balls." Izuku said.

The icy teen snorted, raising his eyebrow.

"Sounds almost as formidable as the mud army we faced. Truly, you are the top student indeed."

The two chuckled amongst themselves, not noticing the wide eyed stares of the other guys as the steam cleared slightly.
