"How was your run?" He asks
"Good. Why are you standing there all stiff?" I ask
"Go shower and get dressed. We're going over to the Coopers for a talk with all your friends. I'm gonna call Archie." He says before I jog up the stairs

"Riverdale's best and brightest, huh?" Alice says as I stand beside Kevin who is sitting on the arm of the couch and I text the groupchat
"Alice, thank you for hosting." Mayor McCoy says
"Of course, Mayor McCoy. When I heard what happened at Nick's party, I decided that we should come together to deal with this motley crew of liars, dope-fiends, and fornicators. Except for my Betty, who was smart enough to leave the party before it descended into a bacchanalian free for all." Alice says
"Oh, my God. Mom, please don't." Betty mumbles
"Wait, what happened at Nick's party? What'd I miss?" I ask as I look around the room
"You weren't there?" Alice asks
"No, I was at the Wyrm having my own party." I state
"Why were you having a party?" Reggie asks
"They were celebrating her initiation into the Serpents." Veronica says causing me to look up at the ceiling as I let out a loud breath
"Okay, Vee, there are some things that my dad just doesn't need to know." I say
"Shoot, sorry, Cam." She says with an apologetic smile
"This is a thing I needed to know, Camryn." My dad says
"I mean to be fair you already knew I was a Serpent. I have the tattoo, I wear the jacket, I hangout on the Southside everyday, I'm friends with Serpents, My boyfriend is a Serpent. So, I mean didn't you kinda see it coming?" I ask as I attempt to talk myself out of the trouble I'm going to be in
"Stop trying to talk yourself out of this." My dad says
"But dad, at least I wasn't being a 'dope-fiend' or 'fornicating'. And I didn't necessarily lie, I just didn't tell you some things." I say
"Go home. We'll talk about this later." He says
"Well, um, actually, can I go to the quarry with Fangs, Toni, and Pea?" I ask before poking my lip out and giving him my best puppy dog eyes
"Are you gonna come home tonight?" He asks
"I'm not sure." I say
"Yes or no, Cam." He says
"I'm not sure, but I will let you know." I say
"Go on." He says as my phone dings signalling I have a text
