Camryn's POV

-2 Months Later-

"Where were you guys thinking about having Ry's birthday party?" Betty asks as She, Ronnie, and I paint the float while Archie, Jug, and Pea build the pieces for the float while Ryder plays in the playard beside the float

"I was wondering if we could have it at Pop's?" I ask Ronnie who smiles at me

"Of course you can!" She says with a big smile

"It will be on July 6th, my lovies. Our dad will be getting back from Cherry Creek tonight, so he'll be there, too." I say with a smile

"I can't believe the kid is already about to be one." Archie says

"I know, man. Can we put him in the dryer and shrink him, babe?" Pea asks causing all of us to let out a laugh

"We definitely can. I miss the newborn stage. He was so wittle." I say as I poke my lip out

"I miss rubbing your pregnant belly like you were a genie." Ronnie says with a big smile as we all let out a laugh before we hear tires screech and my eyes fall on Cheryl in her car before she climbs out

"Well, well, well. Stop the presses. The Riverdale rag has finally reported a story accurately." Cheryl says as she crosses her arms over her chest

"Not only is there going to be some hideous janky parade sneaking its way through town, you six are the architects of this outrage." Cheryl says

"What's your problem, Cheryl?" Ronnie asks

"My problem, Veronica, is that the forth of July is a day of tragedy for Riverdale, not celebration. Or have you forgotten what happened to my poor brother Jason?" Cheryl asks

"Cheryl, Riverdale hasn't held a parade out of respect for what happened to your brother in...like, years. I think it's time." Betty says

"I'd like to go to one with my little family." I say as I smile sweetly at Pea

"I mean...you don't have to come." Jug says with a smirk

"Oh, I'll be there. Insufferable Smurf. Front and center, with a sign of protest in one hand, and a horn of compressed air to silence any revelry in the other." Cheryl says before climbing back in her car and driving away
