Murdered

Camryn's POV

Before Fred even completley stops his truck I jump out and run over to the police tape

Two men are putting a body in the coroners van

Fred and Archie now standing beside me

A woman and a man are wheeling another body in a body bag out of my house

I duck under the police tape and run towards my house until a deputy stops me

"Whoa there. This is a crime scene I need you to go back behind the tape." The deputy says

"This is my house." I whisper as the tears fall from my eyes

"Follow me." The deputy says as we walk into my house

"Sheriff Keller." The deputy says as he gestures the sheriff over to us

Theirs blood everywhere my eyes land on the living room wall, 'Woman Beater'  is written in blood

"Sheriff this young lady says she lives here." The deputy says

"Oh my god." I whisper as the tears fall

"They're dead aren't they?" I ask as the tears continue to fall

The deputy and the sheriff just stare at me with pitty in their eyes

"You have to say it." I say now crying hysterically

"Yes, sweetheart, they're dead." The sheriff says and I feel my stomach turning

I begin running to the kitchen trashcan but I slip and fall before I get there

I'm now covered in blood

I feel the vomit rushing to my mouth

I begin puking on the floor beside me

"Let me help you up." The deputys says with his hand extended to me

I take his hand and he pulls me up

A paramedic hands him a blanket and he wraps in around me

"Let's get you out of here." The deputy says as he leads me out of my house as the tears continue to slowly fall from my eyes

"Cam!" I hear Archie yell as him and Fred duck under the police tape

"You can stay with us." Fred says with a reassuring smile

"Get her home and in the shower. She's had a hard day." The deputy says as Fred pulls me in for a hug

"I need to get a few things before we go." I say as Fred releases me

"You don't need to see all that again." Archie says

"I'll go through my bedroom window. I used to do it all the time back in LA." I say with a small laugh trying to lighten the mood

*2 Hours Later*

After an hour long shower I finally feel semi clean

I step out of the shower and grab a towel wrapping it around my body. I walk over to the sink and wipe the fog off the mirror

I stare at myself in the mirror

'Woman Beater' passes through my mind again

*Knock Knock*

"Are you okay in there, Cam?" I hear Archie ask from the otherside of the bathroom door

"Yeah, I'm fine Arch." I say but it comes out as more of a whisper

I put on my burgudy bralette, my black lace trim hipster panties, a pair of underarmour shorts, and a dark gray PINK tshirt that says 'I woke up like this'

I quickly throw my hair into a messy bun

I slip on my slippers, drop my towel in the laundry basket, and exit the bathroom

I jog down the stairs and enter the kitchen with Archie, Fred, Kevin, and Sheriff Keller

"I know you've had a rough day but do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" Sheriff Keller asks

"Sure. Why not?" I sigh

I take a seat on the barstool next to Archie

"When was the last time you seen your parents?" Sheriff Keller asks

"Around 7:30 this morning before I left for school." I say as I fidget with my fingers

"And what happened before you left for school?" Sheriff Keller asks

"Um at breakfast I complained about having to move here and before I left for school they gave me a letter from my birth father." I say as I look up at Fred who gives me a small smile which somehow makes me feel so much better

"Do you know who your birth parents are? They're now suspects." Sheriff Keller states

"Suspects? I figured the black hood would be your only suspect." I state

"The black hood is a suspect; we just need to follow all leads. So do you know who they are?" Sheriff Keller asks

"My birth mother is..... Alice Cooper." I say as I look at everything but the sheriff

"And who is your birth father?" Sheriff Keller asks

"That'd be me, sheriff." Fred states

"Where were you today?" Sheriff Keller asks

"At work and then I came home. I was home for about ten minutes before Archie and Camryn came home." Fred states

"Home." I whisper to myself with a smile on my face

"Home." Archie whispers to me with a small smile

"Home." Fred whispers with a big smile on his face

"How long have you known mister and misses Baker?" Sheriff Keller asks me

"Your whole life right?" Fred asks

"Um I've known them for about four months." I state

"Four months? You were being adopted when you were born." Fred states

"They got pregnant with they're own child and gave me up. After that it was foster home after foster home; Until the bakers adopted me after just two weeks of knowing me." I say

"My name was Camryn Grace Andrews until three months ago." I say as I fidget with my fingers

"Do you know any reason why the killer would write woman beater on the wall above your adoptive dad's body and baby killer above your adoptive mom's body?" Sheriff asks in a skeptical tone

"When Lillian was nineteen she got an abortion and again when she was twenty." I reply

"And Jonathon? Why would someone call him a woman beater?" Sheriff Keller asks

"He lost his job a few weeks back and started taking it out on me and Lillian..." I say trailing off

"I think that's enough questions for tonight, dad." Kevin says as he grips his dad's shoulder
