"I need to tell you guys something." I say as I look at Archie and my dad who are standing in the kitchen of our home
"You shouldn't be out of bed." My dad says as he quickly ushers me over to a barstool
"I'm fine, dad." I say
"What do you need to tell us, Cam?" Archie asks as he and our dad stand across from me with the island between us
"I wasn't completely truthful when I told you my adoptive parents moved us here so I could meet my parents." I say
"What do you mean, Camryn?" My dad asks
"Something happened in LA. I was in a car accident three months ago. I was with my bestfriend and the boy I had hoped to spend the rest of my life with." I say as the tears pour out of my eyes
"We went to my boyfriend, Casey's birthday party and we were on our way back to my house because we we're gonna have a movie night there. Casey was driving and Aria, my bestfriend and I were singing the song Bodak Yellow by Cardi b so obnoxiously." I say as I wipe the tears away
"And uh it got to my favorite part of song and I got even more obnoxious and crazy. Casey was laughing and he looked at me and said he loved me as he laughed. And in that split second that he took his eyes off the road another car hit us head on and they were both pronounced dead at the scene." I say as my tears fall from my eyes uncontrollably
"I had nightmares. I still do. I blame myself for their death. They were my family." I say as I cry uncontrollably
"Oh, sweetheart." My dad says as he walks around the island and hugs me
Archie walks around the island and hugs me also
-The next day-

Jughead and I get off his motorcycle and stare at pops
'Death Dinner' is wrote in black spray paint and it looks like a ghost town
"What the hell?" Jughead whispers before we walk into pop's
I take huge breath as I hear the bell
"You okay?" Jughead asks in a worried tone
"Yeah, I'm fine." I say as the door closes behind us
"Pop?" Jughead says as we see Pop Tate behind the counter
"Did you see? Did you see what they wrote on my Chock 'lit Shoppe?" Pop asks before rubbing his head
*10 Minutes Later*
Pop said his entire staff quit and no one has been in since I was shot. He doesn't know how long he'll be able to keep the doors open if things keep going the way their going
We are sitting at a picnic table in the courtyard of Riverdale High. I left jug's jacket; which I haven't given back yet; on Jug's motorcycle so I don't have to answer questions from Archie
"It's another win for the bad guys. No one was there. His entire staff quit. He says he's not sure how long he'll be able to keep the doors open, maybe not even a week." Jughead tells Archie, Betty, and Veronica what happened earlier
"It's because of what happened to me." I say softly
"People are freaking out. And I gotta be honest, guys, I don't see myself going back any time soon." Archie says
"Wait, I'm sorry, am I hearing acceptance? I'm not letting one psychopath with a gun dictate what happens to our place." Betty says
"Jug, you went crazy trying to save the drive-in." Betty adds
"I can't take on anymore social issues. My hands are full." Jughead says
"With your dad, of course. And he should be your priority." Betty says and Jughead sighs
"I'll take point on helping Pop Tate." Betty adds
"I'll help, too, Betty. Hey, anything to get me away from my parents, I'm in." Veronica says
"Count me in." I say as I glance at Betty
"No, you're still healing. Let Betty and Veronica handle it." Archie says
"Another Bee and Vee team-up. They should really make a video game about you guys." Jughead jokes
"I gotta jet. I'm off to meet my dad's court-appointed joke of a lawyer at the sheriff's station." Jughead says
"Come get your jacket." Jug says as he stands up
"MY jacket?" I ask as I emphasize the word my
"Yeah, your jacket." Jughead says with a small smile
"I'll go with you, Jug. I gotta drop some flyers off for Sheriff Keller." Archie says
*3 Minutes Later*
"Here ya go." Jug says as he hands me my serpents jacket
"This doesn't mean you're allowed to go join the serpents. Archie and Fred would kill me." Jug says
"Is there any other reason why I can't join the serpents?" I ask as I search his face for any emotion
Concern appears on his face
"It's dangerous and I don't want you to get hurt." Jug says softly as a smile appears on my face
I step towards him, get on my tippy toes, and peck his lips
"Thanks again, Juggy." I say with a cheeky grin before backing away from him
"I'm gonna go pop in on dad at work." I say as I look over at Archie who's eyes are huge after witnessing me kiss Jughead
"Yeah, uh, okay." Archie says awkwardly before I walk away
*30 Minutes Later*
"Knock knock." I say as I walk into the trailer where I see my dad on the phone
"That's great news, thank you." My dad says with a huge smile before hanging up the phone
"What was that about?" I ask in a skeptical tone
"You're coming home, kid." My dad says
"Really?" I ask with tear filled eyes
"Yes, Camryn Andrews." My dad says with a huge smile before engulfing me in a hug
"The lawyer said the paper work will be all finished in three days." My dad says as he lets me go
"I'm coming home." I whisper as I look my dad in the eyes
*2 Hours Later*
I walk into the trailer and see Jughead leaning against the kitchen counter
"Good news. You only have to share your trailer with me for three more days." I say as I take Jughead's I mean my jacket off
"Your adoption went through?" Jughead asks as I hang my jacket up
"Yeah." I say with a small smile as I turn around and look him in the eyes
"I'm gonna miss having you around." Jug says
"Awe you're gonna miss me." I joke as I walk towards Jughead
