"Hey, dad." I say as Pea and I walk into his house
"Hi, Honey." My dad says as he takes Ryder from me
"Please tell me you guys don't know anything about your brother escaping?" My dad asks as I set Ryder's diaper bag on the coffee table
"Of course not, dad." I say as I avoid eye contact
"We gotta get to school, are you sure you're good with him today?" I ask
"Yeah, I need my little apprentice's company today." My dad says with a sad smile
"Dad, I'm sure he's fine." I say before pecking his cheek
"I love you, call if you hear anything or if you need anything." I say as I peck Ryder's head
"I love you guys, too. And you guys do the same." My dad says as we walk out of his house
"This is killing me, Pea." I say as we walk down the steps
"I know. But it's best if we don't involve him." Pea says as we reach his truck
"We have two fancy cars and you still insist on us taking my truck." Pea says as he opens the passenger door for me and I climb inside
"Because your truck is iconic. And every time I get in it I'm reminded off us in our early days." I say with a smile before he leans in and pecks my lips
*40 Minutes Later*
"Archie is a murderer, and we know he didn't escape alone. He had help. Hiding a convict or withholding information from the law is a felony offense. So, whoever's aided and abetted Archie Andrews is just as much of a criminal as he is." Sheriff Minetta says as he stops in front of Reggie's desk
"I was busy all day, Sheriff. You can check my browser history. If you know what I mean." Reggie says causing the class to laugh
"How bout you, Miss Murphy? Have you heard from your brother?" Sheriff Minetta asks
"That's Misses Murphy." I say with a hard glare
"Ah, I forgot, you're a teenage bride." Minetta says with a smirk
"And she was busy too, if you know what I mean." Pea says with a smirk causing the class to laugh again
"I don't even know this Archie person. And on Mondays, I host a group for Teen Farmies. We are still accepting members." Evelyn Evernever says
"Where were you, Miss McCoy, at the time of the breakout?" Sheriff Minetta says as he steps over to her desk
"Don't look at me, sir. I, uh...I...I was in the music room...practicing." Josie says nervously
"Come on, Josie." I whisper to myself
"Alone?" Sheriff Minetta asks and Josie stays silent
"I'll be looking into all of your alibis, and if I find out later that someone in here was involved, then you can say goodbye to this school, your hopes and dreams, your music, your entire future. All of it goes away just like that." Sheriff Minetta says as he bends down to Josie's level
