Camryn's POV

*Ding Dong*

The sound of the doorbell wakes me from a deep sleep

*Ding Dong*

"I got it." Archie says in a sleepy voice from the floor

Archie shuffles over to the door as Fred comes down the stairs

Archie opens the door as I shuffle over to him

A woman now stands in front of Archie

"Is this where Ms. Camryn Baker is staying?" The woman asks

"Yeah that's me." I groan as I rub my eyes

"I'm Margret Thacker your new social worker." The woman says

"Oh come in." Archie says as he moves out of the doorway

"Please, have a seat." Fred says gesturing towards the couch as we enter the living room

"I have your new placement Camryn." Margret says as I lean against the doorway half asleep

"New placement? Can't she just stay here, with her real family?" Archie asks

"Um you can file the paperwork but until the adoption is approved she will get a new placement." Margret says

"Where's the new placement?" I ask with attitude as I roll my eyes

"Its over on the south side. Now of course you'll be switching to south side high school, but if mister Andrews is serious about filling for adoption then it'll only be temporary." Margret says reassuringly

"No, Absolutely not. She's not going to south side high." Fred says now standing up

"I'm sorry, sir, but unfortunately it's not up to you. My advice to you is to file for adoption as quickly as possible." Margret states

"I'll call Jughead, dad. He'll look after her." Archie say's as he pulls his phone out

"But last night you said you and Jughead weren't really talking?" I ask

"We're not but you're not going in there without someone looking out for you." Archie says as he leaves the room

"Get ready and you can follow me over there." Margret says and I grab some clothes and leave the room

*5 Minutes Later*

I throw on a black, gray, and cheetah print PINK t-shirt, a pair of black, white, and cheetah print PINK sweat pants, some black, white, and gray PINK socks, and my cheetah print converse

I throw my hair in a semi messy bun and exit the bathroom

I jog down the stairs where I'm greeted by Fred, Archie, and Margret

"We put your bags in your car already." Archie says as he hands me my keys

"That eager to get rid of me?" I joke

"Quite the opposite actually." Archie replies

"I'll get you home soon, sweetheart." Fred says as he engulfs me in a hug

"I know, dad." I say so naturally

He pecks the top of my head before releasing me

*20 Minutes Later*

I turn my car off and get out

Margret and I walk up to the door of the trailer and she knocks on the door

The door opens and a chubby man opens the door

"This is Camryn your new foster daughter." Margret states as a woman walks over and stands next to the chubby man

"I'm James and this is my wife Joan." The chubby man replies

"Well I have some twins to find a home for so I'll let you get to know each other." Margret says before she walks back to her impala

"Look kid we just need the money so go find somewhere else to stay." Chubby man James says as he closes the door in my face

Sleeping in the car it is

I get back in my car and start it

I drive to the back of the trailer park and park in an empty trailer spot

*Ding*

My phone signals I have a text

I unlock my phone and open the unread text.

Jughead: Hey, it's Jughead; Archie's friend. I'll walk you to school tomorrow morning, what's your foster parent's address?

Camryn: I'm actually sleeping in my car in the back of the trailer park

Jughead: No, you can crash with me

A guy wearing a south side serpents jacket with jet black hair about my age walks past my car as he texts someone

The guy comes to an abrupt stop about five feet in front of my car

*Ding*

I open the unread text

Jughead: Did I just walk past your car?

Camryn: You have jet black hair and wearing a serpents jacket?

Jughead: That's me

The guy turns around and hops in the passenger seat of my car

"I'm Jughead Jones." The guy says

"Camryn Andrews." I say
