"This doesn't feel the same." I say as Pea and I walk into the lounge where I see Archie, Mad Dog, Reggie, Kevin, Ronnie
"I miss Jughead. How did move in day go yesterday?" I ask as Pea sits down in one of the arm chairs
"It went pretty good. He seemed pretty happy." Betty says as Pea pulls me into his lap
"What're you guys talking about?" I ask
"Turning El Royale into a community center." Ronnie says
"I'm looking at around forty grand to pay for the renovations that the gym needs." Archie says
"I hate to say it, again, but I could just lend you the money." Ronnie says
"No, Ronnie, I don't want to take any more handouts. I wanna work for it. I just need to figure out what that work can be." Archie says
"We could host a charity concert." Kev says
"I could sell my unborn child?" I suggest jokingly causing everyone to laugh
"Or Ryder. He's a pretty cool kid. Worth at least forty grand." I say causing everyone to laugh harder
"No, I think we're, uh, all pretty attached to your kids." Archie says
"Could have a bake sale?" Betty suggests
"You'd have to sell a lot of cupcakes." Mad Dog says
"Now, hold on, I think Bee's onto something. Not a bake sale, per se, but...looking at you five strapping young men, there is another classic way to raise money. A car wash." Ronnie says
"Can I bring my car through Pea's line over and over again? I'll pay every time." I say with a smirk
"How bout I just park my car in your garage?" Pea asks causing my cheeks to heat up and Kev, Mad Dog, Reggie, Betty, and Ronnie let out laughs
"Okay, that's disgusting. Can you not?" Archie asks
"Arch, we have a whole child and another on the way. How do you think that happened?" I ask with a small laugh
"I prefer not to think about it." Archie says
"Let me put this image in your head. Hot, hot, hot, incredible, sex." I say with a laugh
"It's so good." I add causing everyone except Archie to laugh
"I hate you, so much." Archie says with a small laugh
