Reuniting with Penguin

Camryn's POV

"Yes, dad. I'll be home in just a couple of days." I say as I approach the escalator that leads to the first floor of the airport

"I love you, Cam." My dad says

"I love you too, Dad." I say before hanging up the phone and readjusting my backpack on my shoulders

Archie and I haven't spoke in almost two days and neither have Jughead and I. Even though both have been texting and calling me non stop

Mister and Misses Turner come into view as the escalator reaches the first floor

"Cam, sweetheart." Mrs. Turner says before engulfing me in a hug

"We've missed you so much, kiddo." Mr. Turner says as he joins our hug

"Penguin is in the car waiting on us with Tony, our new driver." Mrs. Turner says

"Is he as cute as your old driver?" I joke as Mr. Turner takes my suitcase and we walk out of the doors

"Now now, girls." Mr. Turner says with a small smile

"You must be Ms. Andrews." Tony says greeting me as we reach the car

"Yes, that'd be me. " I say with a smile as he takes my backpack and opens the door

Penguin leaps into my arms

"Penguin!" I say excitedly with a huge smile

*5 Minutes Later*

I take a picture of Penguin and send it to my dad

"Camryn, is that a tattoo?" Mrs. Turner asks

"Yeah, yeah it is." I say as I stare down at my tattoo

"It looks like a gang symbol." Mrs. Turner says

"Southside Serpents. We are one of the gangs in Riverdale." I say worried I'm going to disappoint them

"Cam, look at us." Mr. Turner says

"That look on your face. The look that says you don't wanna disappoint us. Am I reading your face right?" Mr. Turner asks as tears fill in my eyes

"I-I-I um, I feel responsible for their death and feel like you're watching my every move. You two are about the only people in the world that I'm scared of disappointing." I say as tears run down my cheeks

"Oh, Sweetheart." Mrs. Turner says before pulling me into her

"Aria and Casey's deaths were not your fault at all. And you could never disappoint us. We love you like our own, Camryn." Mr. Turner says as Mrs. Turner holds me close

*5 Minutes Later*

Tony opens the door and I grab penguin and exit the car

"You can stay in Casey's room." Mrs. Turner says before I take deep breath and walk into the Turner residence

"Ms. Camryn." A familiar female voice says

I turn to my right and I lock eyes with Maria, the cook

"Maria." I say with a big smile as I engulf her in a hug

"I'm making your favorite for diner." Maria says as I let her go

"Parmesan Chicken and extra cheesy mac and cheese?" I ask and Maria nods her head in response

"Sounds delicious." I say with a small smile before walking up the stairs with Penguin still in my arms

I reach the top of the stairs and walk over to Casey's bedroom

I take a deep breath and place my hand on the door knob

I freeze in place

I can't do it

I let go of the door knob, turn around, and knock on Nathan's door

Nathan is Casey's twin...identical twin

The door opens and I drop my head

"Cam, it's so good to see you." Nathan says as I continue to look at the floor

"Can you umm- I can't open..." I say trailing off as I look at the floor

"Yeah, I got it." Nathan says softly as he steps around me and opens Casey's bedroom door

I look over at Nathan and we lock eyes

"I know." Nathan whispers with tear filled eyes before engulfing me in a hug

"Here are your bags, Ms. Andrews." Tony says as he sets my bags down

"Thank you." I say as Nathan releases me

"I'm gonna go settle in." I say to Nathan before walking into Casey's room

It's covered in pictures of me and him

I walk out on to the balcony, pull my phone out, and call Archie

"Hello?" Archie says but it comes out as more of a question

"Arch, I'm sorry. I was upset and hurt and I took it out on you." I say as I peer over the balcony

"You wanna tell me what happened now?" Archie asks in a sincere tone

"We were making out and it was about to escalte but what you said that morning kept running through my mind, so I told him. I also told him that I was falling in love with him and if those feelings weren't mutal then I needed to know. And he apologized and said he had to go. I left the trailer right after him and went home, where I saw him and Betty hugging and then kissing." I explain

"I should've kept my mouth shut. I'm so sorry." Archie apologizes

"No, you did the right thing. But their is something else I need to tell you, however you need to be with dad for this one so he won't be extremly mad when I come home." I say

"Alright, hold on." Archie says

"Hey, Dad. Cam needs to tell us something." Archie says

"Okay, you're on speaker phone." Archie says

I send Archie a picture of my serpents tattoo

"I joined the southside serpents." I say

"You did what?!?!" My dad asks rather loudly in an angry tone

"And you have a serpents tattoo!" My dad yells

"Calm down, it's not that big of a deal." I say

"You joined a gang, Camryn. That is a big deal." My dad says

"Cam, Dinners ready!" Nathan yells from the hallway

"I gotta go. I'll call you later." I say
