Alina knew it was her school's formal but that didn't make the decorations any less enchanting. The theme that had been selected was "Fairytales" so of course, her school had gone out of its way to make half the space look like a magical forest, Alina had a hard time determining if the school had brought in real trees or fake ones and after a quick inquire with the staff learnt that it was a blend of the two. Fairy lights of varying hues were strung amongst the branches, that mixed with the subtle smoke being diffused through the 'forest' gave it an alluring aesthetic that everyone would surely take advantage of for photo ops. The beauty of it all left Alina in awe the whole night. It almost felt like a dream.
