Clenching her chest, She knew what this awful feeling was, but the fact she hadn't felt it since she was small and the fact that she was now alone made it feel worse than she knew it could. Kneeling down, she started to sift through her memories, hoping she'd find how she used to deal with this overwhelming emotion. Tears had begun to stream down her cheeks as the feeling circulated around her small frame. Once the memory was located, she found that the way she'd dealt with this in the past was just to cry, and so she rolled over to her bed, surrounding herself with blankets and pillows alike and did just that. She stopped trying to wipe away the salty water that was pouring out of her coffee eyes. Soft sobs started to escape her lips, and the memories of all the other times she was like this flooded her brain. As the tears streaming down her cheeks increased, the name of this emotion came back to her. She was sad. For the first time in a long time, she was sad. The ghost of a smile was on her face as she continued, it was an odd feeling that she had missed to some extent. Knowing that there would be happiness after the sadness was comforting.
