There were many things Ashley knew she couldn't stop. The passing of time, the terrible things people did everyday, earthquakes and Tsunamis, Secrest coming to light and so many more things that she would push to the back of her mind in an attempt to remain ignorant. The fact of secrest always finding ways to worm their way out of the dark kept her up late. Of course she has secrets, everyone does after all, She just feared the day her biggest one would find its way out, whether it be an inconsistent lie or someone figuring out one of her tells, her brain rattled off different ways it could get out. She knew it was impossible to stop the truth from coming out, it, like so many things, was imminent.
