Welcome to the world of colour, we haven't decided on an actual name yet but rest assured we are working on it. Here it is possible to find your soulmate via many different colour related ways. There are those who will only see colour once they meet their soulmate, ones who will only see one colour until they meet their soulmate (Who was seeing the same colour) and The eye swap, where you trade an eye colour, keeping your left as your own and your rights as your soul mates. There are also the rare few who have a vibrant coloured ribbon or string tied at their pinky and their soulmates. And a bunch of others that are yet to be told.

Alina was one of those rare people who had a string, her's was a pale yellow and when she held her hand up against the sun, it seemed to disappear. She was considered lucky by most, not only could she see in colour from birth, but all she'd have to do is follow the string to find her soulmate. The only problem is that she had already done that, and found that her soulmate lived across an ocean, she was stuck and would have to wait for her chance to find them. So she lived her life expectantly.

About a week before school started she noticed that the string moved on its own in a very noticeable way, which was odd seeing as it would normally stay basically still facing in one direction. She paid no mind to it, thinking that her soulmate was just moving. When she stepped into the school grounds, Alina could see that her ribbon was now easy to move and the direction it was in was changing once again without her movement, she rushed to class, desperate for her classes to end as soon as possible so that she could look for her soulmate.

She kept her eye on it, barely able to concentrate during homeroom, the bell for the next period to begin had rung and she sprinted to her next. She sat down and greeted her friend, Eric, quickly updating him on her situation. She twirled with her light brown, almost blonde hair whilst telling him, a blush appearing on her sun-kissed skin. It was then when a tall boy would walk into their class, dark hair and amazing blue eyes. As Alina was sizing him up, she caught a glimpse of a yellow string cascading from his left hand and leading to her right. Blue met green when the two locked eyes and smiles graced their newly blushing faces.
