He kissed her. You might have been his date for this party, but there he was, they started making out from across the room. Tears started to brim your eyes as you saw her leading him down a hallway. Your breathing becomes faster and you look for an escape. You could see your friend, Jane. She was in the corner, clearly wasted as she didn't seem to care that a stranger had put their hand on her thigh. You walk to her, lightly grabbing her by the wrist. "Jane, time to go home." you say, and you put one of her hands over your shoulder. The stranger glared at you before backing off at a harsh glare of your's. You lead your drunk friend outside and called a cab. Why did you agree to come? You were never on for parties in the first place. The cab came and you were glad the night was almost over.
