One almost every other day of the year, the weather was dreadful, and on days it was decent, it would eventually change for the worst. So of course that when everyone was being forced to stay inside was the weather amazing. This was the third day of seemingly perfect weather and it irritated Melissa to no end. Not only was she unable to visit her friends she was also unable to soak in the warm rays of direct sunlight, and instead had to absorb vitamin D via sitting at her window, looking longingly to the outside world. "Meli! Get down here!" her mother called, snapping her out of her thoughts. She ran down the stairs, hoping that something exciting had happened, or if some good news had finally arrived. When she arrived in her family's living room, to her dismay, a repeating broadcast was on. No one was to leave their homes fo any circumstances other than getting food, the town had a week before this so people could bring their family to one place but it meant that she wouldn't get to see her friends for a long time.
It was official, quarantine sucked.
