Sirius' head was pressed lightly against mine. He played with my hands, rubbing his thumb against my palm.
"The sexual tension is aggravating," James said, walking down the boy's staircase. I rolled my eyes. The reality of the thought finally got through my skull.
"Sirius, you have to break up with me," I said. Sirius frowned.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"I promised myself I wouldn't....do stuff...until I was married. If you're dating me, that means you can't do stuff either," I said, more quickly than I probably should have.
"Who says I haven't been? I'm kidding. I'm not breaking up with you, Serana, just because you can't have s-"
"Okay! Okay! I don't want to hear anymore!" James ran out of the room at that point. I kept replaying what Sirius said in my head.
Who says I haven't been?
I stood up.
"You okay, Darling?" He asked. I nodded, knowing my face was slightly pale.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm okay. I just want to take a walk."
"Oh, okay." I walked out of the Common Room.
What if Sirius had been messing around while I wasn't around? I wouldn't put it past him.
I shook my head.
What am I saying? This is my boyfriend, not some random dude. I felt tears prick my eyes.
Why was I feeling so affected? Why did it hurt so bad? Maybe because he had hurt me before.
As I turned the corner, I bumped into someone.
"Oh...I...I'm sorry," I mumbled.
"Rani?" I knew that voice.
"Tony...hey!" I flashed a fake smile.
"You okay? You look...upset," he said. I tried to deny it, but I ended up spilling everything. Tony didn't tell me it was okay or that Sirius was being a tease. Instead he, sighed.
"That explains yesterday," he said. I frowned.
"Yesterday?" I felt my voice crack.
"I was in the library yesterday. I saw Sirius. He was with another girl. Like with another girl." I felt my chest compress.
"I'm so sorry-" I push Tony's oncoming arm away from me.
"No, no. Don't...don't touch me." I staggered away from him, wondering out of the castle.
The sun shone intensely on the insanely hot September day. The rays glistened off the water. You could almost see the rays shimmering through the air.
I hated it. So much.
I stumbled quiet far from the castle before falling onto the ground, too stunned to move.

*Sirius's POV*
Sirius walked out of the Common Room. He walked around the left corner. He bumped into a person who seemed to be strutting. He stepped back.
"Excuse you," He snapped.
"Excuse me indeed," the guy said. Sirius knew that voice.
"Antonin," he growled.
"Ah, Sirius, just the Gryffindor scum I was looking for," the Slytherin said cheerfully, "You wouldn't believe who I just passed, crying, down the halls."
Sirius glared at the boy.
"Serana came crying to me when she learned you'd been fooling around with other girls," Antonine was grinning.
"I wasn't fooling around with other girls. I care for Serana, I don't want to hurt her anymore." Sirius snapped in reply.
"Well. She didn't seem to think so. And the thing about girls is, they're not like guys. When guys get angry, we punch stuff, when girls get angry, they fall back into the arms of their previous boyfriend, which, in this case, would be me." Sirius clenched his fist, a growl escaping his lips.
"What are you saying?" His jaw set, a slight popping sound echoed through the hall.
"I kissed Serana," Antonin leaned in, "And she let me." He finished in a whisper. Sirius tried to keep his voice calm.
"You're right, Dolohov. When guys get angry, they do punch stuff." Sirius pulled his arm back and socked the boy in the jaw as hard as he could. A crack rang out. Antonin fell to the ground, groaning on pain. Sirius stormed off, set on finding his girlfriend.

*Serana's POV*
The grass beneath me seemed to swallow me hole, the earth opening up to chew me up. I stared up at the blue sky, the bright sun baring down on me.
Clouds, that had not been there seconds ago, covered overhead. The warm breeze turned cold. A shiver went up my spin. I was not dressed for cold.
I stared up at the darkening sky until drips fell from it. they landed on my face, causing me to close my eyes.
It was the calm voice that pulled me from my sleepless slumber.
"I didn't know the heart could actually hurt." Sirius's voice made my eyes flutter open. I was soaking wet, my summer clothes sticking to the ground. I turned and pushed myself up slowly.
"I know how you feel," I replied, just as cooly as the breeze that blew through my dripping hair.
"How, how can you possibly know how I feel?" Sirius was sitting on the one bench that was near Serana. Dumbledore had put up a few benches a few years ago. He felt them necessary.
"I always knew you were going to break my heart," I snapped. Sirius didn't flinch. He scoffed and looked down, before lifting his head back up.
"That's funny, because you broke mine first." He stood up and walked off. Before he walked to far, I stood up myself.
"I hate you, Sirius Black," I said. He turned to look at me, water dripping from his long hair.
"Hate it a strong word," he replied. The phrase was probably meant to be soft, but the pouring rain made it almost impossible for us to whisper anything. He turned to walk away again. I took a strangled step towards him.
"When you asked me to be your girlfriend, you made a promise that you wouldn't hurt me like you had before. That you wouldn't break my heart," I called after him.
"Me? Break your heart? What about me, Serana? What am I supposed to do with these little sharp pieces that hurt? What am I supposed to do when I make a joke, then you go galavanting around kissing ex-boyfriends?" I was shocked.
"Kissing-My only ex-boyfriend cheated on me, why on Earth would I kiss him? And who was it that was 'with' another girl yesterday?" I snapped back. Sirius stepped closer to me.
"I was with you the entire day yesterday, what time would I have to be with someone else?"
A sudden realization dawned on us both. Our eyes narrowed, but not at each other.
"ANTONIN!"
