"Is it something bad?" he asked.

"No, no... well, I don't think it is" you say.

"Ok, what is it then" he was staring at you, he still looked worried.

"James I like you..." you say softly.

James looked at you, he looked shocked at what you had just told him.

"What did you say?" he asked.

"That I like you..." you repeat.

"You like me... as in to be your boyfriend"

"Yes" you look up into his eyes.

"(YN)... I don't know what to tell you."

"How you feel, that's all you need to tell me"

"I honestly can't see you as more than just a friend, you're like my little sister. And plus... I have a girlfriend"

"You do?"

"Yeah..."

"Who is she?" you asked, even though you know you wouldn't know who she was.

"I don't know if you remember your friend from work Stephanie... but I went to the restaurant you used to work at and I met her. We started talking and well now were dating."

"Stephanie?" you repeat her name.

"Yeah, I don't think you remember her."

"No, I don't"

"I thought so... I kind of invited her over today."

"Oh... James."

"Yeah?"

"Just forget I told you I like you, I don't want you to feel weird around me."

James smiles and hugs you.

"Don't worry (YN), hopefully you can start remembering everything again, that way you'll be able to figure things out."

"I hope so"

"You want something to eat?" he asked.

"No, I'm gonna go out"

"Where are you going?"

"I don't know, just walk around. I need a little distraction"

"Ok I understand"

James gave you a sweet smile, you smiled back and went to your room to change. Once you were ready you walked out the front door and started walking around, you then decided to go to the beach. You walked around near the water letting it hit your feet, you had your sandals on your hands while you walked. You saw a lot of happy couples walking around holding hands. You sigh and look down while you drag your feet on the sand. You phone suddenly starts vibrating. Carlos was calling.

"Hey" you answer.

"Hi, how are you"

"I'm ok, and you?"

"You don't sound ok..."

"I'm fine" you say.

"Ok. Um I was wondering..." he stayed quiet for a few seconds. "Is it ok if I go see you... right now?"

"You know, that would be great" you smile. "I'm not home though"

"Where are you?"

"I'm at the beach, near Logan's house."

"Stay there, I'll be there in a few minutes ok"

"Ok, I'll be waiting"

"Bye"
