Narrator's POV

Ferris wheel. Merry-go-rounds. Games. Rollercoasters. Swing rides. Temples. Appetizing aromas of street food stalls and sweets. Balloons. Carnival music. Happy chatter of children, parents, teens, friends and lovers alike.

They were welcomed with the cheerful and stunning ambiance of the fair when they reached the destination.

"Woah, this is even bigger than last time!" Yuna exclaimed as she marveled at the scene in front of her.

"Agreed. How long do we have until the fireworks start?" Yoongi asked.

"I think we have about an hour or two till the show. Maybe an hour and half, we'll know eventually." Jimin replied, hooking his arm around Yoongi's shoulder as well as holding Hoseok's hand with his free one.

"Relax Yoonie, it will go well. Let's enjoy our time here yeah?" Jimin whispered in his ear, rubbing his boyfriend's shoulder in an attempt to calm him down. Which seemed to work as he let out a breath through his mouth and nodded.

"Yeah."

"So, what's the plan? Do we all go together or split up in teams?"

"I think we can go together this time Joonie, that way we can take a lot of group pics and stuff. What do you all say?"

"I think that should be just fine, that means I can spend more time with my favourite boys too!" The old woman chuckled, in turn getting big smiles and nods from the boys.

"Okay now that's settled! Now, where to first?"

The septet being themselves, went ahead and checked out all the games first, excitement oozing out from everyone including Taehyung's grandmother as well.

She watched them trying to just grab that one plushie from the booth with that damn useless claw like thing, watched them take turns to try and get the plushie. And just as everyone was about to give up, Hoseok got ahold of it, making all of them erupt in loud cheers. People around them were all having fun being loud, so no one really judged them for it either.

They had also accepted the challenge of a stranger, the challenge being trying to see which one of them lasted the longest on that aggressive mechanical bull. All of them, even Yuna climbed on top of that bull, and she surprisingly lasted quite long for someone her age. Jungkook lasted the longest, Seokjin was second, Jimin was third, Hoseok was fourth, Taehyung was fifth, Yuna was sixth, Yoongi was seventh and Namjoon was eighth. They took videos of each of them riding the bull, and took pictures with the stranger who challenged them as well.

And all of them seemed to be having the time of their lives on that huge swing ride. Well, except Hoseok and Jimin. But the terrified screams, delighted laughs and excited cheers made it all the more fun to watch.

Now that they were all loosening up a little,  they decided to have a few drinks after visiting the temple and praying to whatever celestial being was up there. Seokjin didn't drink though, as he was the one driving them back home.

As they were walking towards their next ride –the rollercoaster– after they each had a shot or two of soju, they were now completely in the moment and relaxed.

And that was probably why Taehyung and Jungkook didn't feel too awkward holding hands as they walked with the rest together. Everyone around them were too into the fun to notice the little moment going on between the two, so Jungkook took the liberty and asked Taehyung;

"What did you pray for?"

'For everyone to be happy for long and for you and I to go back to how we used to be.'
