Narrator's POV

"Hey," Taehyung shook Jungkook.

Jungkook only sleepily grunted and rolled over to the other side. Giggling at that, Taehyung walked over and continued to gently shake him awake, "Hey, hey boyfriend dearest, wake up, I have a suggestion."

Jungkook seemed to become aware of his surroundings now, considering he smiled a little when Taehyung called him 'boyfriend dearest'— he found it oddly adorable, to say the least. "Tae, sweetheart, it's five in the morning, it's too early to be up, what are you doing?" Taehyung felt like the brunet's raspy morning voice vibrated in his chest, which he didn't mind in the least.

Contrarily, he seemed to want more of it, which was what prompted him to speak even more, "No you dork, it's half five already, and I was thinking we should go for a morning walk."

"Are you serious?"

"What? Our first date was sneaking into the park in the middle of the night and watching the sunrise while eating sandwiches and ramen and apples under a willow I didn't even know existed there till then. Which was awesome I won't lie, but come on, a walk in the morning plus basking in sunlight is winning in life, and it'll most definitely help your stress fever."

"You sound like my mum," Jungkook giggled, slowly rubbing his eyes open to see his boyfriend leaning over to his face with excited eyes— which of course, he found to be adorable.

"Well be prepared, your mum and I are gonna be besties 'cause we think nature is awesome," he chuckled out, pressing a little kiss on his nose, "So, what do you think of my suggestion?"

"I'll go brush my teeth and come downstairs."

"Fuck yeah! Nutella and toast will be ready by then!" Taehyung cheered, cupping his boyfriend's face and kissing all over it before running downstairs, leaving Jungkook chuckling to himself at Taehyung's antics.

***

The sky wasn't quite bright just yet, but the faint light blue of a sunrise from afar was beginning to appear already, seeing as it was only fifteen minutes long till sunrise.

Taehyung and Jungkook wore something simple and warm, clothes more on the comfortable side than the stylish because that was how they rolled. A full-sleeved hoodie on top of a plain t-shirt with some grey sweatpants.

They figured no one would give a damn because one, it was near six in the morning and two, people would be too busy being early birds and catching their worms to even spare a judgemental glance at them.

Meanwhile these two were busy talking about Nutella— or rather, Jungkook was going off on a tangent about how good it was and how he loved today's breakfast, even sharing childhood experiences with the said sweet hazelnut cocoa spread while Taehyung simply smiled and listened to his lover fondly, occasionally slipping in responses he deemed very necessary.

"Based on your rambles about how much you love nutella, I have a feeling you've finished two jars within a week or something," Taehyung grinned playfully, only half joking.

"Three days actually," he shyly grinned back, swinging their joined hands, "I think I was twelve or thirteen."

"Holy shit, you serious?"

"Very much so."

Taehyung nudged Jungkook's shoulder, wearing that same playful boxy grin of his before teasing, "I'd be lucky if you loved me as much as you love that sweet stuff."

Seeing that they had reached the spot where the sunrise was the prettiest— a fairly long bridge that curved over a lively burbling stream that gushed over a variety of pebbles and stones, leading to the park's pond— they stopped in their tracks to lean forward on the metal railings, watching as the sky slowly transitioned into a cheerful shade of blue; and it appeared as if the clouds decided to take the form of glowing golden cotton candy today.
