Narrator's POV"I feel so bad.."
"It isn't your fault, Seok. You couldn't have possibly known that he'd pass out like that. I'm sure Tae would say the same." Yoongi reassured a guilty looking Hoseok, patting his shoulder.
Taehyung was laying unconscious on his bed, covered in his blanket, a folded damp cloth on his forehead.
Jungkook had yelled out for his hyungs in a hurry when the younger fainted from lack of oxygen. And noticing the panic in his voice, all five of his hyungs had rushed to them and helped Jungkook in carrying the younger boy carefully and in laying him down on the bed. And Namjoon had called the emergency number in a hurry, and explained the situation.
Thankfully, his breathing slowly became steady and nothing too serious happened. Being crouched inside the tight closet with another person just made it a little hard for him to breathe properly, especially because of the still healing broken rib; as the operator on the other side had said. So an ambulance wasn't really needed. And they were grateful for that. He had a slightly hot forehead, hence the damp cloth.
"But still, I should've thought about his injury.. ugh I'm such a dumbass-"
"Don't say things like that, Seok. We make mistakes, that's natural. We all thought he was healing, and none of us saw this coming. It can't be and it isn't your fault, trust me when I say that."
"Yoongi is right, Hobi hyung." Jimin added, reaching out a bit to rub Hoseok's back.
After Taehyung was settled down, Hoseok had muttered something about needing some time alone and rushed outside the room. Both Yoongi and Jimin had followed him out to make sure he was okay. They both knew that the latter would be blaming himself way too much for this. And they were consoling him currently, all of them sitting on the couch in the living room.
And shortly after that, Jungkook appeared infront of them and sat down beside Hoseok.
"Hey, hyung."
"..Hey, Kook.. How's Tae?"
"He's okay, better than earlier. How are you, though?"
"I'm fi-"
"He's still feeling guilty." Yoongi replied before Hoseok could complete his (obviously false) sentence.
Jungkook frowned slightly and gave his best friend a quick hug.
"It isn't your fault, Hobi hyung. Stop blaming yourself, yeah?"
Hoseok still felt guilty, but a bit better nonetheless. He felt blood rush to his cheeks a little when Yoongi seamlessly slipped his hand in Hoseok's and when he intertwined their fingers.
"Yeah.. Okay. I wanna see him, Kook. I still wanna apologize when he wakes up."
"But-"
"Please?" Hoseok cut Jungkook off, giving him hopeful eyes.
And how the hell was Jungkook supposed to turn down his best friend since childhood? So he just sighed, then nodded and got up with Hoseok, both walking towards Taehyung's room in sync. Leaving Yoongi and Jimin alone in the living room.
"So.. shall we have that talk we silently agreed on having, Yoongs?"
"Absolutely."

It didn't take too long for Taehyung to wake up groggily, confused about what exactly had happened. All he remembered was the talk he had with Jungkook in that closet and V's stupid remarks. So his hyungs filled him in, explaining what happened as softly as possible. And as Hoseok promised himself, he apologized to the younger boy. And the younger was confused at first, but was quick to reassure him that it wasn't his fault at all, just like Jungkook, Yoongi and Jimin did.
Speaking of Yoongi and Jimin, they had that talk while the rest of the boys had been in the younger boy's room waiting for him to wake up.
It had started off by reminiscing their fun and cute memories with the adorable sunny-smiled boy. They talked about how his flustered behaviour whenever he was with them made sense, getting all shy and giggly themselves by just thinking about those moments. And somewhere along the lines, Jimin had hesitantly confessed that he'd been feeling funny (in a good way) about Hoseok, but he hadn't wanted to bring it up because he thought Yoongi wouldn't like it and then would misunderstand him. He had also been confused since his feelings for Yoongi hadn't changed a bit, he'd still adored the older mint haired boy. So Jimin thought maybe he had been just confused before, and that he hadn't genuinely felt that way to Hoseok.
But as it turned out, Yoongi had been feeling the exact same way as his boyfriend. And shortly after that, both of them shared a sweet round of laughter at their likeness. They definitely loved eachother. And eventually, they learnt and accepted together that they both shared a similar feeling towards Hoseok, and both of them wanted to find out more about this, whatever this was. They wanted to be sure about their feelings, as this was quite a new thing that they'd experienced so far. And they definitely didn't want to mess up anything and hurt Hoseok, because crush or not, he was still one of their best, cherished friends.
So for now, they took a decision together to hang out with Hoseok more, take him out on occasional cute little dates with them, and most importantly, confirm if Hoseok really does like both of them that way.
It was already obvious, but a little confirmation wouldn't hurt no one, right?
Yeah.
On the other hand, Taehyung was mostly okay. His fever went down, and he could breathe properly now. His hyungs didn't let him move around too much, and they just continued playing around and talking about the lastest gossips in uni and about some Netflix shows. All the while Taehyung was in the middle of the bed, and the other boys surrounding him on bed, and some on the rug.
Yoongi and Jimin joined in shortly after their talk, and of course they received some stares from all the boys except Hoseok, who was too busy with his turn in playing candy crush with Taehyung. And in return, they slightly blushed and nodded, signalling that they'd explain later.
And both of them did explain later on after spending time with Taehyung. They explained what they were going to do now to everyone except Hoseok, and they even made a group chat excluding the said boy for the sake of helping Yoongi and Jimin plan for the future dates and outings they would hopefully have with Hoseok.
As for the youngest duo of the group, they unfortunately still remained the same. One of them refusing to accept his true feelings, and the other trying to get rid of his still growing feelings.
Their relationship wasn't going to go that smoothly, that's for sure.
