Narrator's POV

The early morning air at the cemetery was as cold as the dark blue of the sky and the dew drops on the grass by Yuna's gravestone.

The two boys stood there, staring at it with lowered heads and aching hearts. Neither of them started talking out loud yet, only in their minds; hoping the sweet old woman could hear them from above, from wherever she was. And Taehyung was the one to first break the eerily calm silence of the area, "Hey, Halmoni. It's your Taebear," he softly said and looked back to Jungkook, gently smiling before he continued, "See, our Jungkookie's here too."

In response, the older boy moved closer to him and curled his arm around Taehyung's waist and affirmed, "Yeah. I'm here too, Halmoni."

"You know, you were in my dream the other night. And you said you knew Koo and I would be together soon," Taehyung said, voice as soft as the lilac petals he had seen in that dream, "And though I usually would be annoyed by how you're always right, I can't say the same this time. I'm glad you were right. I'm so happy with him and our hyungs, Halmoni…" he said with a little tear in one of the petals— a small crack in his voice.

He knelt down on the ground, the dampness of the grass couldn't be compared to that of his eyes. Jungkook followed suit, staying silent to allow his lover to talk to her.

"But… But I would've been so much happier if you were here with us too, Halmoni," he weakly whispered, trying hard not to break down crying within the first five minutes of the visit.

"It's just not fair. You weren't supposed to go yet… You were supposed to be the same stubborn little dork after the treatment, you were supposed to watch us grow and be in love so you could tease us and give us advice on things in life, use silly little analogies to explain things the way you do..."

"Tae…" Jungkook caressed his back in an attempt to calm him; ground him before he'd lose it. And that seemed to have helped, as he took a deep breath and continued, "Wolfie and Taesuk are here too, Halmoni."

As soon as he said that, he started to dissociate. Jungkook noticed, and gave little reassurances of his presence and told him to take his time, quietly. Not long after, V blinked away the blurriness and shook his head a little, looking at Jungkook and smiling a little before focusing on the gravestone in front of him, "Hi, Halmoni. It's been a while, hasn't it? It's me, V. Or Wolfie, you said it suited me too, so..."

"She did?" Jungkook asked, feeling even more fond of her.

"She did. It was the same day as she told us how fascinated she was with tiny butterflies," V said, a reminiscent expression on his face, "Do you remember, Halmoni? You said that you thought they were creatures that lived in the moment, unaware of its own beauty and the happiness it gave others. Just like you."

A moment of silence persisted between them, neither a peaceful one nor a problematic one. Just a simple, angsty silence before it was broken by V again, "Taehyung told me how he'd seen many tiny, white butterflies fluttering around you in that dream he told you about earlier… Guess you weren't joking that day after all."

Curiosity got the best of Jungkook when he asked, "What do you mean?"

V glanced at him and smiled, "Remember the last day we saw her before she left without being able to say goodbye?"

A shaky sigh left from his mouth as he nodded. "That was the day she had told me about it. The day she'd joked about how she'd fly to me or Tae one day in the form of a tiny white butterfly instead of us chasing after one, like we used to in our childhood," V said, a humourless chuckle escaping his lips, "I'd half-joked back how I'd rather have her in human form for a while longer... But fate had other plans, Kook."
