[Heads up! Mild smut near the end! For those who'd rather skip it, I will put exclamation marks '!!!!' When it begins and ends.
This is the longest chapter I've ever written yet, so buckle up, folks!]
Narrator's POV
"Tae, what were the colours you wanted again?" Jungkook asked, turning back to where Taehyung stood looking for different kinds of brushes.
"There should be an acrylic set somewhere over there, Koo. As extra, I would need Titanium white, black, coral pink and maroon. A tube of each. I use those a lot." Taehyung replied, holding multiple different sized round brushes, eyes still scanning over the array of paintbrushes, looking for a few more.
"Is this set good?"
Taehyung turned around, "Yeah that's good. Put it away if it's too pricey though."
"Nah don't worry about that, puppy. But where would you use coral that much? And maroon?" He mindlessly asked as his eyes continued to search for the specific colours the younger mentioned.
"Those work great for sunset or sunrise landscapes, bunny. Those colours bring out the warmth of the scene if used the right way. Along with a golden yellow too. Gosh, coral mixed with a bit of yellow would give such a pretty variation of orange!" He rambled, feeling giddy seeing the variety of colours in his mind's eye.
"Tae! Are these canvases alright?" Jimin called out, approaching the younger boys while struggling to hold two landscape canvases, a large and a medium, and a large square canvas with both his arms.
The three boys were in the local stationery shop, buying the necessary art supplies that Taehyung would require for his creative works.
Jungkook had vaguely explained the conversation that had happened between him and Taehyung to their friends, and their replies were of course, positive and relieving. They felt proud of their youngest friend for actively trying to gain better control of himself and doing something that would benefit him and everyone around him instead. They had also expressed their gratitude to Jungkook for coming up with such a creative solution and for supporting the younger, which to Jungkook had replied with a statement that expressed his want and willingness to help Taehyung because of the affection and care he held for him.
"Mhm! Thank you, Chim." Taehyung thanked Jimin as he took the two large canvases from him.
Jimin smiled, "What else do you need?"
"I've got the paints, Tae. You done looking for the brushes?" Jungkook asked, looking over the younger's shoulder to peek at the array of different paintbrushes.
"I've got a few more brushes to look for, pretty sure I'll find them soon."
"I'll help you with that." Jimin said as he propped the canvases up against the display racks.
"And I'll be right back." Jungkook said, leaving the two boys after bending down to put the tubes of paint in his hand into the basket Taehyung held.
"Hey, Chim?"
"Hmm?" Jimin hummed, pulling out two brushes from the holders.
"When's the police questioning?" He asked, pulling out the flat brushes he was searching for.
Jimin turned to face him, "Did Wolfie tell you about it?"
"Mhm. He wouldn't shut up about his nervousness for it and I'm here standing like some idiot who has no idea what's going on. He wouldn't tell me at all and neither would you guys. It's annoying, I won't lie. I can't even ask Koo because then I'll have to explain about my system before I'm ready, and he already knows I've agreed to go for the questioning. Well, not me but- you get what I mean." He huffed out.
